A very good package using still one of the best dynamic microphones in the Shure SM57 after almost 50 years. 5 |

these windscreens are a quality product. i use them on my Shure SM57 microphones. they are simply placed over the top of the microphone & have a snug fit.these windscreens differ from the Shure brand windscreens in two significant ways. first, the Shure brand is far more expensive. second, the Shure brand requires a small, eyeglass-type screwdriver to lock the windscreen onto the microphone (the shure brand windscreens can be seen on any presidential podium since 1965).WindTech has provided a much easier, cost-effective, & acoustically transparent way of eliminating unwanted wind &/or pop noise from your microphone. 5 |

I have three of these stands, which I use with the K&M 21140B boom. That boom is small and light enough that lighter microphones (Shure SM57, etc.) can be used with no problem. This is a high quality piece of gear, and excellent for portable use due to its small size when collapsed, and its light weight. 5 |

When you open the box containing these, you will think you are looking at a Shure SM57 microphone, first of all, and they are in every aspect very close to the sound of the SM57's, though they are 1/10th as expensive..!! I am using these Pyle PDMIC78's to mike my drums...even the kick drum sounds great...I learned all this from a video on YouTube (see YouTube URL below) ..but let me clarify...though these mikes are inexpensive, I wouldn't say they are CHEAP in quality at all.....I set these up with my drums using the Glyn Johns technique, and you can find that on YouTube (see YouTube URL below)..and it all works VERY well for recording and live applications, as well as just for studio jamming..if you are on a tight budget and need some inexpensive microphones, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND these PYLE PDMIC78 microphones...! 5 |

I was using a different microphone with a vocoder and I had a lot of problems with feedback. I bought the Shure SM57 and it solved all my problems. 5 |

The Shure SM57 is a world class microphone. It's been around for ages and, while that doesn't have to mean much because some mics such as the SM58 I find to be always an inferior option, I think with the 57 Shure have really nailed it. I bought this for a recording session for an acoustic guitarist I work with. The mic sounded great on each guitar he brought in. Or rather the guitars all sounded great through it. Naturally you'll want to do additional processing for a polished recording but this mic offers such a wonderful sound on all it captures. Just a little EQ & compression along with any time based effects will really make your source material shine. I now primarily use this as a vocal mic live and in the studio. It works wonderfully for that as well. Live I use no additional processing and in the studio I get pretty effect heavy. In both situations it stands up. The Shure SM57 is at home in anyone's studio or live rig and I truly believe Shure will probably be manufacturing this microphone for all eternity with good reason. 5 |

I was using a vocoder with a lower quality microphone and I had a lot of problems with feedback. Since I bought the Shure SM57, all the problems have been solved. 5 |
