You've heard the phrase, Death by a thousand cuts. A slow degradation till it just fails. The bands for my U87 were getting looser and looser. I just had no idea HOW loose. I finally bought some new bands, and wow. I should have done this YEARS ago. They fit perfectly, brought the microphone back to the center of the basket, and all is right with the world. I usually use these bands to help improve my grip on older all-metal lenses when I wear gloves. I realized recently that these bands would be perfect to firm up / lock the focus ring on my manual astrophotography lens... it works wonders, and it's incredibly simple. 5 |
