You've heard the phrase, Death by a thousand cuts. A slow degradation till it just fails. The bands for my U87 were getting looser and looser. I just had no idea HOW loose. I finally bought some new bands, and wow. I should have done this YEARS ago. They fit perfectly, brought the microphone back to the center of the basket, and all is right with the world. Spring is coming.

So these are pretty much the best headphones i have ever used but i have a big problem, when im listening to my favourite death metal band i tend to start headbanging and they always fall off then... :((

I usually use these bands to help improve my grip on older all-metal lenses when I wear gloves. I realized recently that these bands would be perfect to firm up / lock the focus ring on my manual astrophotography lens... it works wonders, and it's incredibly simple.

Using as a multi-track home recording situation. I record multiple instruments(guitar, keyboards, synths, electric drums)live into garageband and everything sounds great. Only odd thing about it is that there's no power switch, but this is not an issue once you hook it up to an outlet with a switch.
