[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had my 1TB 980 installed as my system/boot drive for 11 months, and it has given me rock-solid reliability and a serious boost in boot speed over the Seagate spinner it replaced. I'm getting ready to build a new PC, and I will definitely move the 980 to that new system. I'll be looking for motherboards with two (or more) M.2 slots so I can add another, larger Samsung NVME SSD for faster access when I'm editing video, or streaming media files using PLEX or Jellyfin. 5 |
