I tested my many ultrawide lenses and was disappointed at how soft most of them were. I was looking for a lens that was good for underwater photography and milky way images. I was most disappointed with the Tokina 10-17 which is in every underwater photographers kit. I have two copies of that lens and both are pretty disappointing. This Nikon is an incredible lens, easily the best fisheye I have owned (I have had the old manual 16mm Nikkor, the 10.5 Nikkor, Tokina 10-17, Sea and Sea 12mm and Sigma 4.5)

I was planning to purchase a Go-Pro but then I saw this at a third of the price. I tried it and was able to video the underwater sea life in the Galapagos without a problem. The buttons take a bit of getting use to but once I understood them there was no problem. The videos were great for me!

This case is perfect for my needs,it was bought with two uses in view: As a protection case for my underwater photo gear (I use a mirrorless system); As a carry on case for short trips. It stores my basic gear for underwater photo: One Housing for mirrorless system; Two strobes; Housing double handle tray Four 20cm arms; Six simple clamps; Two sea&sea strobe adapters; If I need there is still room for wet diopters, two extra lenses, or one mini dome port (for the 8mm panasonic fish eye). As a cary on case it is perfect you can fit enough clothes for more than one or two weeks if you are not going to a polar region.

I've used the deep sea blue side of the muslin backdrop for in-studio portraiture and have received amazing results. I love the textured look, it gives nice depth in the background of my photos. Naturally there are some creases from the backdrop being folded and packed for shipping, but these folds and lines eventually relax or can be pressed out. I am certain that I will use this backdrop again and again. Love it!

I recently purchased the DiCAPac WP-S10 Waterproof Case as an alternative to the hard shell underwater housings that cost nearly 8 times as much. I bought this not knowing how well it was built and how well it would protect my camera. Before using my camera in the case, I tested its waterproofing by placing tissues inside and submerging it in the ocean. There were no signs of leakage so I went on to try my camera. I got the same results as well as some great shots and footage. The water sealing is great. The way in which you close the case by rolling the seal greatly decreases the likelihood of water entering the case. The case is also seems to be very sturdy from my experiences. I took this case on vacation with me to St. John and used it in some harsh waves and the waterproofing held up perfectly. I would definitely recommend this case for anyone wanting a well built and reliable underwater case though I would not suggest it for deep underwater diving as there is much a lot of space for oxygen inside even when sucked out. The oxygen would increase the risk of the case opening or leaking when brough to deep depths.

This cuts more than the Uv model - and is very good for the price. I live by the sea and also shoot a lot of window displays so a Polarizer is fairly essential. I've used Hoya filters for 30 years on multiple cameras, and they are a quality filter.
