I currently live on campus and as of late am using a dual monitor setup. In order to have enough work space I have to push my laptop to the corner of my desk, creating a very awkward typing position. This Logitech Illuminated keyboard was a perfect fix for my problem. The keyboard has a laptop key-feel and is very quiet. I get compliments from my project group members when doing CAD work all of the time. I utilize the hot keys, mainly the music symbol (set to open Itunes) and the home symbol (opens Google Chrome) all at the touch of a button! The hot keys may be assigned with the supplied disc. (Is Vista compatible) Now for the Illumination. You have the option to have Bright, Dimmed, more Dim, Off. It has exceptional visibility and has a great wow factor. I already had the VLC media player ap installed on my windows 10 laptop, so when I plugged this into my USB port straight from the box, it was recognized and functioned immediately. If your computer doesn't have a driver, Transcend provides one free, but you must download one in order to use external drives--perhaps that's why some users claim their player wouldn't work? 5 |

The pre-amp works great. Just got it, hooked up with no issues and have recorded multiple albums. Better than directly connecting a receiver to the laptop. Works with Windows 10. Windows 10 automatically detects it and starts up the proper USB audio codec. Found I needed to use my normal sound device for playback with my Toshiba laptop. B&H once again delivers quickly. I highly recommend both. 5 |
