Dell Adapters For Laptops

I have used this to replace the hard drives on Mac and Dell laptops. It worked fine.

With the newer Dell XPS laptops largely abandoning USB-A ports, wired Ethernet ports, and HDMI/DisplayPort ports, having a dock is pretty much necessary for expansion as many current peripherals are still USB-A. I have an earlier Thunderbolt 3 dock on my work-proved Dell Precision, and it requires 2 cords to the laptop, where this Thunderbolt 4 only requires 1 - and has 130W charging pass-through (from the 180W power brick) so it can keep up even when pushing the machine hard. And I'll be able to hook it up to my wired network for throughput greater than what I can manage with WiFi.

I'm using it to share a USB docking station between two laptops, a dell and an HP. Th docking station has two monitors, a mouse, and a keyboard. It seems to be working really well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Belkin never disappoints. With the newer laptops these adapters are necessary. The last few I have gotten only had USB-c outlets on it. This makes it possible to add other things with this type of port. Easy as 1-2-3. Great brand great product.

This MagSafe converter is a must have accessory if you own other Apple laptops with MagSafe power adapters. It takes up almost no room and weighs next to nothing, so it's easy to keep in a bag with your MacBook Air, or staged with your other MagSafe cords so you ensure you always have a supply of power.

With the new laptops on the market without VGA ports, I am purchasing a large number of these adapters to connect to projectors and external monitors. Star Tech is my only go to product for this use. I've used Monoprice but they do not hold up very long at all and are cheaply made. I also use Star Tech adapters of different types for the same purposes. I'm glad to have a quality product I can keep going back to and B&H always has the best price.

Surprisingly hard to find, I bought 2 of these on the go adapters to work with my Dell Venue 8 Pro. The delivery was fast and they worked like a charm. I can now do my calibrations and parameter changes to my DJI Phantom in the field.

I have replaced all the DP to VGA adapters for my office computer (Dell OptiPlex 780's). This adapter secures well to the computer and being it has a pigtail it does not extend much past the onboard VGA monitor cable. I have 35 workstations with dual monitors and non of these adapters have failed going on three years.
