Dell Curved Gaming Monitors

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a 29" curved monitor first and it was starting to do things monitors do when they have had enough of life, so I went shopping for a new one. First I tried an LG Ultrawide flat but ended up donating it to my husband for gaming as I really missed the curve and the ease of peripheral vision in gaming. Then I started working from home, and while most of my colleages have 2 or 3 monitors scattered around their workspace, I have 1, simplifying my life. It's kinda big, I don't recommend it for just any space, I affectionately refer to it as my surfboard, but it's a great monitor and I'm glad I went for it.

I've been using the Dell UltraSharp 38 1600p Curved Monitor for a few weeks now, and it has exceeded all my expectations. This is an upgrade from my 2015 Dell UltraSharp 34 curved display (3440 x 1440) that still works. I like the larger size and higher 5K x 2K resolution. I installed Dell Display Manager app to make it easy to choose input source and other settings. When connecting the monitor to two computers (like my main one via DisplayPort plus one I'm setting up via HDMI), the DDM software makes it easy to view the two sources side-by-side, while the 40 screen and high resolution makes that practical for legibility.

I bought this adapter to help mount a Dell monitor with a curved back onto a repositionable arm. Instructions were pretty clear, but it still took me a little time and patience to get everything to go together correctly. (A second pair of hands would have helped me, but I installed it myself.)

This is being used as a gaming monitor. It seems to make the image more intense. The curved style allows you to take in more visually. We'd recommend this monitor.

Ordered this for a few Dell 27 monitors. The fit was perfect and performs as expected.

Had to connect two monitors and the Dell D6000 has all the needed ports to make that happen!
