Dell Data Protection Password Manager

Fast drive, it serves password protection which good for keeping professional data.

I use it to back up sensitive and regular data, so I use the password protection thing. -I have owned 4 WD passports for 2yrs and 3 My Books for 4 yrs; none has failed me thus far. -I also like the security feature, and the SmartWare has improved a lot with a much friendlier interface vs earlier versions. NOTE: I do manual backup so don't know about the reliability of the auto feature. Needs improvement: may be a good idea to have a password recovery disc capability like Windows 7.

The good thing about this drive is it has password protection and a nice variety of colors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Kingston IronKey Vault Privacy 50 series are made to be lightweight and sturdy. It also supports USB 3.2 for fast data transfer. The transfer speeds on Linux, Windows and Mac OS X systems is very pleasing. I must set a password to use this device. I can also use it by entering the password whenever this device is connected to the PC. This device can safely store documents or data that require security.

I was able to backup my entire 250GB harddrive with plenty of room for other storage. I also added a password for protection. Excellent value and outstanding service.

Found out the hard way that not all data cables work in both directions. This one allows me to connect my work issued Dell laptop to my personal NEC monitor. Tested the cable and it worked. Used it all day to day during a 10 hour work day and had no issues whatsoever.

Works great and the only thing I had to set up was the option to have a password to protect it if someone else tries to use it.

Easy setup. Easy to change WiFi name and password. Easy to use the app.

If you lose the spotlight password, the instructions do not tell you how to reset the password

Looking for more storage and data protection/reliability of a more advanced RAID and this enclosure fit the bill. With good drives at low prices, and the flexibility this enclosure allows (including easy swap of drives) this is now my main image drive (yes, with nightly backups and cloud storage, just in case) and I can use the swappable drive features to put projects - video in particular - on different drives as needed. Add in B&H free shipping (next day since I'm in Philly) and it's a great combination.
