Dell Gaming Computer Color Setup

I purchased this memory for my Dell gaming computer I use for my photo and video processing. The memory was accepted with no problem. There was a brief time for setup for the new memory. Once the memory was configured and recognized by the BIOS, the computer saw a dramatic change in multitasking operations. Dell had given me the wrong specs on the memory which forced a return and exchange for the correct memory. That was handled seamlessly and with precision by B&H.

Very nice motherboard. Has everything I needed to setup a high-end gaming computer.

I previously had a 27” Dell monitor on my work computer that cost me around $700 and was 1440p. I was a little disappointed with it. It had a noticeable dot pattern at certain viewing distances. Almost like a screen door effect. It also wasn’t uniform in color. If you put up a white image it would have a pinkish hue on the right side of the screen and fade into a more neutral tone on the left. This monitor on the other hand looks great and is very uniform. I can’t see any variation in color. The Stand is top notch and the frame fit and finish is good. The controls are fantastic. Couldn’t be happier. I plan to buy a second for my personal computer.

I have had the monitor for a couple weeks to replace a 10 year old Dell 25. Major difference in colors, even with the color temperature the same. Another major reason for me to upgrade, as I couldn't trust the old Dell anymore for correct colors. Thought about getting a BenQ, but wanted something reliable long term. I will be using the EIZO for photo editing. I used the X-Rite i1Display Pro with EIZO's color navigator software to check calibration. Didn't appear to change much from the factory calibration. The monitor does give off alot of heat. Make sure work space is well ventilated. Also got the hood accessory. As expensive as this monitor is, they should just include the hood with it. Can't use the new style hood while calibrating though, no slot. They recommended turning off any overhead lighting prior to calibration to lessen ambient lighting. Called tech support prior to doing the calibration since I had a two monitor setup, I didn't have to be on hold very long, and they were very helpful. If you have a two monitor setup, make sure the EIZO is the primary monitor (windows setup).

Upgraded a Dell computer with this; worked well

bought a dell windows 10 computer with 4 g memory. the thing couldn't do anything not enough memory. Dell wanted way too much to upgrade the memory so i looked up the stats and i ordered this. The computer now functions great. So i added 4 x the memory and i still have the option of installing the 4 g in addition to the 16 but i don't really need it since the 16 is now pleanty to run the system for my needs.

Hands down best computer case for my fleet of computer cases. Just right to build an all RoG gaming setup.

Built a new gaming computer and its fast. So i order this monitor to go with setup. Will never look back. My computer is faster than the monitor when i cut computer on. So i installed fortnite and it keeps up. I just wish i knew how to play the game. There is a lot of settings in this monitor that i have know idea what to click on. So if you are a gamer i know you will love this monitor, because colors really stand out. Keep looking on you tube for help.

I bought this to use with my Windows computer when my old 5K iMac would no longer run the latest Photoshop. I had a 10-year-old ASUS ROG gaming monitor hooked up to the PC, and none of the color modes produced realistic photo color. Right out of the box, this monitor did great, except Adobe RGB was overly saturated and bright. So I bought a Calibrite (X-rite) Display Pro HL, and used that with the included Palette Master software. The calibration was easy, fast and accurate, so now my Adobe RGB mode is spot on. I only wish I had the money and space for the 27 model, as the 24 model is smaller than I had imagined. It turns out that there is a noticeable difference between 25 and 24. So I use it as part of a dual-monitor set up along with my larger gaming monitor. Otherwise, I love this monitor! It is really easy to go between different color spaces and the three saved calibrations. It's also easy to rotate between horizontal and vertical, which I do quite a bit. The HDR mode makes HDR computer games look incredible. So if you don't have the money or need for a $1,000+ photography monitor, this is a great option. If you primarily do design work, BenQ has a separate series for that without the full Adobe RGB space.
