Mic, Pre-Amp, and Headphone Amp in an all-in-one package! Nice to be able to use a USB mic without the need for a separate pre-amp. Really like the headphone jack incorporated into the unit with separate gain controls for the headphone volume.

My G7 doesn't have a headphone jack, and this solves the problem when hooked up to a shotgun mic. Wonderful!

Simple good value. I like that all Arturia Microfreak had the hidden Vocoder capability and this mic (with the headphone out ) enables it elegantly. I'd tend complain that as an accessory it wasn't included with the Microfreak but when Arturia priced it affordably (in contrast to teenage engineering accessories) and gave us the new Vocoder feature as a firmware add then it's really a gift. Love Arturia.

I am loving this microphone. First, it is simple to use. I plugged it into my Apple laptop and also my PC desktop and it showed up right away on both. No issues. I'm impressed with the sound quality this little guy produces. It sounds really good and strong. Much better than the built-in mic of my laptop or the mic that is part of my webcam on my pc. And because it is omnidirectional, the sound stays consistent when I turn my head or move around. I also like that I can pull it closer very easily if I ever want to, and then just tuck it away if not in use. The buttons to mute the mic and/or audio output make using this very convenient and easy. It is so much easier to just hit the mute button on this to cut off my mic, as opposed to trying to mute the mic with the video conference software. I love having that option. And the bright lights make it very easy to identify quickly if your are muted or not. I also love that it has a headphone jack. This is so convenient and helpful for a variety of situations. Having a headphone port is obviously helpful for video calls, but also great for everyday use. Since I have my desktop placed on the floor under my desk, I no longer have to reach under the desk to plug in my headphones. This puts the headphone jack right on my desk which is very helpful and convenient. The volume control dial is another nice feature. Power for this mic comes from the computer's USB port, so there is no need for replacing batteries or recharging. I'm very happy with this microphone, it is working great in my set-up and made things so much easier and gave me much better audio quality. I bought a used Lenovo W510 laptop which had a combined headphone/mic jack. Nice computer, but I wanted to use it with Audacity to make digital recordings. This unit is inexpensive, plugs in and works just great. Small enough to carry it in the bag with the laptop. 93 dB s/n ratio gives clean, quiet recordings. Recommend to anybody who gets a computer with combined headphone/mic jack.
