I have used this to replace the hard drives on Mac and Dell laptops. It worked fine.

With the newer Dell XPS laptops largely abandoning USB-A ports, wired Ethernet ports, and HDMI/DisplayPort ports, having a dock is pretty much necessary for expansion as many current peripherals are still USB-A. I have an earlier Thunderbolt 3 dock on my work-proved Dell Precision, and it requires 2 cords to the laptop, where this Thunderbolt 4 only requires 1 - and has 130W charging pass-through (from the 180W power brick) so it can keep up even when pushing the machine hard. And I'll be able to hook it up to my wired network for throughput greater than what I can manage with WiFi.

I'm using it to share a USB docking station between two laptops, a dell and an HP. Th docking station has two monitors, a mouse, and a keyboard. It seems to be working really well.

Great little dock that works with my Lenovos and my Dell XPS in a home setting.

I purchased this mic for two reasons: Do conference calls from home via my computer and for my son's online piano classes. The mic works flawlessly. I'm absolutely thrilled with it. I use it on both Mac and Windows laptops. On both laptops it works without any setup at all: Just plug and play.

Purchased to synch and backup data in my home and office MacBook Pro laptops, and am extremely happy with the drive's performance, ease of use, and quality. I definitely would recommend this drive to my colleagues and friends.

I've been building and maintaining my home computers, laptops for the past two decades and little did i know when I got my first MacBook Pro Retina 15. As soon as I received it I realized that fixing anything HW related on that machine was slightly beyond the DIY electronics enthusiast capabilities. My suspicions were reaffirmed right away when I encountered LCD image retention issue and I had Apple store replace entire flip on my 2 months old MacBook. I started shopping for the AppleCare Protection Plan right away and learned pretty quickly that it's a much more cost effective option to buy it outside of the Apple store. B&H Photo Video came to the rescue. Not only they offered free shipment/tax option, but the product equates in its quality and reliability anything that you would get straight from Apple, i.e. sealed retail box, instructions etc. Activating the plan was a breeze and now I have a peace of mind for another 2.5 years. Highly recommended purchase!

Honestly, I had seen this type of product advertised in the past and thought, surly, there has to be some issue.. as in, I thought it would either not work with any laptop or it would be flimsy or bad quality of image, I surely was wrong.With the new environment of working from home, I found the need for a second screen, and as I work on a laptop, it would be difficult to say the least to walk around with an actual second screen. Not only that, most laptops now don’t really have the ports to connect a second screen. Most thin laptops have either one usb-a or usb-c port. So when I saw that this secondary screen comes with both cables and a stand on itself (for those like me that do not want to attach it to the back of my laptop with the glued circles and leave marks later on.There are many things to like, the full swivel is super cool, the image and color is great, the easiness to install (no need for a cd) is modern and quick, and the flatness that allows me to pack it away with my laptop for travel... honestly, I’m so happy I went this route!Not only has it helped me in being more productive, I am already considering buying a second one for me and a third as a gift for my partner who will start working from home soon.Considering other options, I think this one offers more at a lower price than competitors. If I were to offer one improvement, is that once you pull the full screen from it’s holster in order to use the screen stand, I found myself lost for a second on how to fold it back in (just cause it looks the same on both sides). Once I figured it out, it’s smooth sailing!Awesome screen - fully recommend!
