Dell Laptop Not Working With Docking Station

Used to connect between HP laptop docking station and Dell monitor. Worked well.

I had a dell docking station but it would not allow me to turn on the laptop from it. I could only turn on or wake up the laptop by opening it up. The HP docking station allows the me to turn the laptop on without having to open it up. Please with my HP docking station

Using this docking station with my Dell XPS15. One Thunderbolt connection is now all I need to have my laptop connected to two QHD monitors (one of them widescreen), desktop speakers, keyboard/mouse, and a backup hard drive. That still leaves a few ports available for additional accessories. The only thing that would possibly make this dock better would be the SD card readers that some other brands include. It's nice to be able to just unplug one connection to go portable - and plug back in for a desktop-like experience. So far, I'm very pleased with my purchase.

I use a laptop, docking station, and two monitors. The Dell UltraSharp 31.5 is a good monitor for editing photos. The display has sharp images on a large screen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the Plugable USB-C docking station to organize my desk and setup my laptop for hybrid work. I like that I can connect my monitor, keyboard, mouse, and power cables to the docking station and only connect the USB-C cable to my laptop. This allows me to be more flexible and move my computer when working from home. I would recommend this to someone that's looking for a convenient way to connect their laptop without having to disconnect and reconnect all of the peripherals when working in different locations.

Love my new monitors. I bought two and connected to my docking station from my laptop for working from home. Much bigger and brighter than my Dell screens at work. So nice to be able to see the details in AutoCAD drawings without having to constantly zoom in. I tried this on a flight simulator and the clarity and refresh rate were great and offered much realism.

So simple to install and works seamlessly with my Dell docking station.

I got a couple new DisplayPorts to connect my BenQ monitors with my Dell 6000S docking station. These are super solid! I like how they sort of clip into each socket so they never fall out on their own.

If you have a Dell Latitude with a docking station, the only way you can get full resolution on a 30 monitor is with a DisplayPort cable. This did the trick.
