Speedy shipping from B&H. I installed this in an older Dell OptiPlex 980. Just followed Crucial's directions step-by-step, including the use of their cloning software. The end result was a plug-and-play install with much speedier performance than the old hard drive. This was an excellent, cost-effective upgrade! Highly recommended! 5 |

Works great on a Dell OptiPlex 3000 micro PC that comes with a single 8GB ram stick. Adding this doubles the ram and also enables dual channel mode. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I put the Samsung 980 Pro 2TB drive in a tiny Intel NUC PC with the Intel i5 12400 processor. What a revelation - I expected speed, but the SSD let me do file functions instantly. Everything was extremely snappy including opening Canon CR3 RAW files in Photoshop and importing them into Lightroom CC. I'll soon build a tower Windows PC and will choose the Samsung 980 Pro again. 5 |

I wanted a PC with an eight-generation I7 desktop CPU, not a slower laptop U-series chip, with plenty of ports including modern ones. This is the only box I could find other than farm more expensive gaming machines. Although there are a few negative reviews on A****, the NUC817HNK is perfect for me. It's powerful and up-to-date without being subject to the laptop "tax." I'm using it with Crucial CT2K16G4SFD824A DDR4 SO-DIMMs and a Samsung MZ-N6E1T0BW 860EVO M.2 SSD. 5 |
