Easy setup, all I had to do was update the software and change password

This router exceeded my expectations. I switched from my Tomato router because updating the software became less regular. Having a Synology NAS and being impressed with its Diskstation Manager software and its regular software updates, it made sense to try out Synology Router Manager. It did not disappoint. Accessing the functions of the router is intuitive and not at all cumbersome. Setting static IP reservations is simple and banning connections is straightforward and a three-click procedure. You can monitor connections and even use the apps Safe Access and Threat Prevention to filter what goes through the network. I highly recommend this router. This model was updated recently to work with Synology’s mesh routers as well. If security is a priority for you, upgrade to this router. It’s both easy to navigate and its software gets regular security updates.

I love this! I formatted and mirrored my 4 disks right in Disk Manager in Windows. No special software, no complications! Love love love! So happy! Within 30 minutes I had it up and running!

Works perfectly! I'm an IT Manager at a software company and although I've setup many people with the 2 screen mount, this 3 screen mount is amazing. I set it up by myself also. Just setup the side 2 with it flat then add the middle screen once standing. The office manager loves it!

I was surprised with the stability of the system, the coverage and the speed. It was the easiest system to set that I have ever tried, and the software to manager it is very helpful and easy to navigate. I have brcome a fan and loyal customer of ASUS.

....it appears so far. This is my second WD backup drive, and my first is still going strong and running flawlessly. I've tried ClickFree as a long-term storage solution, and it's been a bit of a nightmare. I bought this drive to replace it in fact, because I don't trust the aforementioned. This WD transfers files on & off itself quickly. It definitely is an External not a Removable, but it doesn't have the massive footprint (size) my old Verbatim External had. My one bone to pick: It is secure, yes. Kinda. When you install the software you can set it to always remain signed-in from your primary host-PC. Which makes sense, being that it's an External not a Removable! But I also use it with my laptop. I had to install the system-files on my laptop, then when I plug the drive into my laptop I need to manually run any one of the WD software applications so it prompts me for my password. Only after this can I see the drive when it's plugged-into my laptop. It would be nice if the drive was recognized but I was prompted for my password. I keep a copy of the system files off-disk, and I'm sure they're available free from WD's website.

Crisp colour however software updates are bothersome as there are many and require printer password to update which adds to the frustration and delays

I installed it as a secondary/backup hard drive on a Dell XPS 8700 that I recently purchased. After installation I used the WD Data Lifeguard Diagnosis software to test the hard drive, then I cloned the OS hard drive to the WD using the free WD Acronis software available on WD's site.

WoW! This replaces a 9 yo Dell color accurate monitor that is now failing. It was good in its day but BenQ SW240 blows it out of the water. I calibrated it with the i1Display Pro using the i1Profiler software and what I see on the screen is what I get after printing. BenQ's calibrating software is easy to use but I find the Profiler to be quite accurate. I purchased the monitor at a time when the shading hood was included but I think that is no longer the case. If you are shopping for a 24 color accurate monitor at a reasonable price then get this. The worst that happens is you can send it back if you don't like it but I doubt that's what you will do. It's a keeper!

7 yr old Dell T3500. Cloned XP from WD drive using esata ext. HD bay for cloning. Used included Samsung software. Drives named a little weirdly (same name for both) in software -clue was drive size and order (from drive 1 to drive 2). Had to change BIOS setting to ACHI mode. Prayed, worked. was nerve wracking and took a long time to set all up so no blunders occurred. Buy OWC bracked from BH. Startup 10X faster. Now MS Outrage (Outlook) works properly, snail to cheetah etc. Best upgrade ever made! Preparation is everything! Get this now!
