Easy setup, all I had to do was update the software and change password

I installed it as a secondary/backup hard drive on a Dell XPS 8700 that I recently purchased. After installation I used the WD Data Lifeguard Diagnosis software to test the hard drive, then I cloned the OS hard drive to the WD using the free WD Acronis software available on WD's site.

WoW! This replaces a 9 yo Dell color accurate monitor that is now failing. It was good in its day but BenQ SW240 blows it out of the water. I calibrated it with the i1Display Pro using the i1Profiler software and what I see on the screen is what I get after printing. BenQ's calibrating software is easy to use but I find the Profiler to be quite accurate. I purchased the monitor at a time when the shading hood was included but I think that is no longer the case. If you are shopping for a 24 color accurate monitor at a reasonable price then get this. The worst that happens is you can send it back if you don't like it but I doubt that's what you will do. It's a keeper!

7 yr old Dell T3500. Cloned XP from WD drive using esata ext. HD bay for cloning. Used included Samsung software. Drives named a little weirdly (same name for both) in software -clue was drive size and order (from drive 1 to drive 2). Had to change BIOS setting to ACHI mode. Prayed, worked. was nerve wracking and took a long time to set all up so no blunders occurred. Buy OWC bracked from BH. Startup 10X faster. Now MS Outrage (Outlook) works properly, snail to cheetah etc. Best upgrade ever made! Preparation is everything! Get this now!

Now I say this but you have to keep in mind that the latest software update as of this writing falls short in one area of my concern namely, the syncing of e-mails will not work(However Apple is aware of this and plans to rectify this problem). I must rave about all the features including but not limited to: Health apps, workout apps receiving calls and texts plus whole lot more. It a wonderful watch!

I have to admit that I am the opposite of a being a fan of subscription software and especially after being a Photoshop user almost from their beginning. However, I love the tools in the Creative Cloud and you get more than just access to Photoshop and Lightroom. You get tutorials which are really good. I would suggest that you don't take the free update of your old CS6 as once you do, that update puts a timer and a lock that Adobe controls. Just sayin'. If you shoot in RAW as I do, you will truly love the tools. I also use some really hefty TIFFs and again, the tools make me look good.

Upon loading software update and music, I am very impressed. Random thoughts- most reviewers say don't bother with EQ. Advise setting DAP on Normal in Amp Mode, Quad DAC and Low, Latency,Fast on Filter.It also has Replay Gain feature where you can have all tracks on an album play at same volume level. P.S. B and H also has a hard shell case that's perfect for unit. In camera section, look forLowepro Hardshell case CS 20 (I believe that's the number). I'm sure store staff will give floor model a test fitting. I attached a small carabiner to metal loop and hang it from my belt. Hope you find this helpful.

I first had to update the software on the Sekonic which was a bit tedious. But once it was up to date with the latest firmware, it worked great.
