The SSD comes with a spacer which allows it to fit perfectly in the Dell. Dell support told me the machine wouldn't manage a drive of this capacity; they were wrong. It's fine. Battery charge lasts longer, booting and wake-up are both much faster, and there's no fear of mechanical failure. So far: all positive, no negatives. 5 |

If you have a laptop, you probably want single sided memory and not double sided memory; be sure to lookup your laptop's requirements. Not all memory is created equal and some reputable providers offer 2TB but memory is double sided and may not fit in your laptop.
