My first serious computer was a Dell PC with an 80gig hard drive. I discovered that a loaded hard drive equals a computer that grinds to a halt. I purchaced this 1TB drive to accompany my Sony Vaio, with an almost 500GB drive, to keep from overworking my computer. With lots of raw image files from a Nikon D-300, it's easy to see the Vaio getting overloaded sometime in the future. The Western Digital Elements SE portable drive will be the primary storage destination for me, keeping the Vaio unencumbered to maintain it's operating speed and perhaps minimize the possibility of other recovery problems. 5 |

My first Mac. Been a PC guy for the longest time. So far, I use it more than my Dell laptop due to its form factor and operating system. Purchased it from B&H after Xmas and was surprised to see such a great deal still after all the other places ended their sale. Very happy with my purchase! 5 |
