Dell Xps Ram Upgrade

My Dell XPS 15 9560 came with 16gb of RAM. I could edit 4k video, but it was laggy. After installing this RAM into the computer, everything booted up immediately and the computer is much better working 4k video. Practically no lag at 4k 30fps, and much faster doing 4k 60fps. Very happy with this product.

I've bought it for my Dell XPS 9520 to replace stock 16Gb RAM - it works fine as expected. Can highly recommend it. B&H provided a great customer experience - also as expected. Well done!

I recently bought this to replace the original 128GB SSD in my 2016 Dell XPS. It was a nice upgrade. SSDs have come a long way in the past six years, both in terms of capacity for the price and speed. If you have own an older machine that is user-serviceable, I highly recommend getting some tools and upgrading your SSD. It's well worth your effort!

The Samsung 980 1TB SSD was an upgrade to my Dell XPS laptop OEM SSD. The new Samsung SSD provided twice the storage with speed gains over 10X. Cloning, replacement and startup were easy using the included Magician App. One of the easiest upgrades I've ever performed!

Bought a new Dell XPS from B&H and wanted to configure with a backup internal RAID drive. This Seagate drive worked perfectly. Just needed the SATA cable and a bit of courage to open my new machine and mess with it. So far so good. Seems to have worked perfectly.

I've always been a PC user, partly biased by history of coding for Windows, but also largely biased based on the high performance of PCs and the lower cost. At this point, I'm primarily doing audio work. The M-series chips from Apple simply give me more than enough power. Even in a MacBook *Air*. The M2 Air is about twice as powerful as my mid-2020 i7 loaded Dell XPS 17 laptop (which cost me twice what the MacBook Air did). And fan on the PC ran **all of the time**, even when not doing much. On the Air, there *is* no fan, so not going to be a problem! :-) The price of the MacBook Air line is also quite good when compared to similar PC laptops (e.g. Dell XPS line). But MacBooks are better, and the Air offered the great performance and reasonable price for that performance, in spite of paying way too much to upgrade to 1TB of storage. Shipping (even to Hawaii!) was fast and it arrived with no issues. It's hard not to recommend the MacBook Air to anyone, even soon-to-be-former Windows users.

I'm a weirdo who seems to alternate from macbook pro's to Dell XPS's every other cycle. I my last computer for the last 4 years has been a Dell XPS, but I wasn't thrilled with the new keyboard layout, so I'm back to a mabook pro! It's quick and easy. Enjoying it!
