Delta Children Bookshelf Rustic White

Heavy, rustic, but stable.

I ordered this as an alternative to Gray and White to have a different background choice for children that was not so serious, works nicely.

This is a very versatile color. I use it for newborns, children, maternity, and the list goes on. It look great in black and white and in color. This one is a must have for any portrait photographer in my book. Just keep in mind 107 is VERY BIG which is fantastic if you have the space for it, but could be an issue if you don't.

I use this for newborns, children, and product photography all indoors. It is a massive softbox. I like how it folds like an umbrella. To fold it like an umbrella, you must take off the white velcro piece in front. I use this on either an AB 400 or an AB 800 (Alien Bee's). I did not purchase any extra fitting to use it on my strobes. I use a $ lightstand that is very stable. My ONLY CON: Carrying bag for the cords, soft box, and white front would be lovely!

Purchased to do an entire day of children's head shots at a local event. Worked out fantastic, shot 5 year olds up to adults and all I did was lean it against a wall. I did open it up and use a portable steamer to remove wrinkles when I first got it, probably will have to do that from time to time. Not a big deal, small wrinkles and they came right out. It is really black and a kind of canvas white. Not really the pure white you think of but it works out well since you can light it and make it white or use a gel and get the control over the color that you cannot with a bright white background. Turns out that slight amount of grey makes it much more useful, like they had that in mind all along. Followed the instructions on the video for folding it for storage and the second time I did it was in a crowd of people in a mad rush to clean up the area. Had it folded and in the bag in less than a minute, someone said looked like I'd done that before, didn't tell him this was my second time. Before I bought this I read every review and watched every YouTube video I could find. I saw a lot of products that were not as large as advertised, I could easily use this for my 6'3 son. I will be adding additional colors from this line as the need arises.

I am in love with Delta 100 120 Black and white film. I use this film in my Mamiya RB67 camera, and it always records light beautifully and creates A very fine grain clean image. It sometimes seems too contrasty for some scenarios, but that is one of the characteristics that i love about it.

I had to purchase the ROG Delta White Edition when I seen it. I can wear this headset for hours, it does not hurt my ears like many other headsets do. Great product.

Ilford continues to provide high quality black and white films and papers. 5x7 is a less popular format and B&H making 100 sheet boxes available at this price is commendable, thank you. I was skeptical about Delta emulsions having favored more traditional products like FP4. I am extremely happy with the image quality from Delta 100. The tonal range is superior and it prints beautifully processed in PMK.

Having done black and white photography in my own darkroom for twenty five years, I found it necessary to give that up in favor of digital, doing conversions to monochrome on the computer. I recently decided to jump back into film, and with a couple of rolls of the Kentmere 100 and the Ilford starter pack, I managed to make space in my guest bathroom for processing. I have exposed about ten rolls so far, along with Delta 100 and Fp-4 Plus, and after tweaking the exposure and development a bit, I must say I have some images from the Kentmere that I can find no fault with at all. I have exposed it at both 50 and 100, and now use Kodak Xtol stock for development for both. Consistency is good. No doubt this film lacks the richness of the FP-4 and the almost clinical sharpness of the Delta, but for anyone doing film for the fist time, or for an old timer like me getting back into it, the results from this film make it a true value.
