Denon Portable Cd Player

I use this cd player when away from my tablet. It's much more compact and portable than way 2-way tablet with the cd-player attached.

I bought this to replace an old Denon CD player/receiver that I'd had repaired once but that, again, wasn't loading the CDs properly. This one sounds just as good to me, and I do like the fact that it has Bluetooth and an input for the audio from the TV. As previous reviews have mentioned, it's odd that you can only select the mode from the remote and not on the receiver itself, but I haven't found this to be a problem. If it lasts as long as my old one, it'll be excellent bang for the buck.

Very happy with the 600NE CD player. I have owned a Denon AV Receiver for many years now and this CD player has the same great quality, sound and functionality. I expect many years of service from this device.

I purchased Denon DCD-600E because I wanted a high quality player without extraneous features that I'll never use (bluetooth, usb port). After a week of playing a variety of music; rock, jazz, r&b, folk, I've concluded that it produces the best sound reproduction of any CD player I've ever encountered (I bought my first CD in the spring of 1986). Instruments and voices sound more distinct and more lifelike than before. It also plays perfectly the CD-Rs that I've burned on my computer. I like the layout of the controls, with the eject button offset below the play, stop, etc. row. My only complaint is a trivial one. In order to change the display mode one must use the remote. It seems to me one more button on the unit, perhaps just to the left of the display, would be appropriate. Personally, I don't use the remote as I almost always play each disc from start to finish. Highly recommended.

I was looking for a new CD player, replacing my old Denon. I have quite a collection of discs and want to play these occasionally. I mostly stream these days.  This a solid player with a great tray for a start, no wobbling or uncertainness when loading a disc. The sound is great just out of the DA on board. If nothing has a slight dark character, which I like or maybe it just sounds a bit better than my old player. It has the typical NAD stealth look, with nice, elegant blue LED info. The remote is OK if you are close and aim right. I can recommend this. I feel like I should be good for the next 10 years.

This is a great little system with great bass response. My Denon Mini CD player died way sooner then it should have and this one is half the price. I was hesitant, but glad I made the purchase.

I truly wanted a Denon CD player, but I thought I was buying a 5 CD changer so when it arrived, I was sad to see that it was a single disc player. I never used it, but I could see the quality in the entire product looks and the perfect packaging.

I use it to play a portable cd player and tablet with a audio cable and the sound is xlnt.

Used as an external/portable CD/DVD player/burner for several machines. Is instantly recognized by Windows 7 and is available for use in a matter of a few seconds after being plugged in. It needs two USB ports but no other external power source.
