Depth In Pictures

I love the depth this lense gives! The pictures I've taken with it are incredible! I would recommend to anyone looking for an affordable lense!

The film made the pictures turn out great because of its good depth of field

I haven't had time to look at it in-depth but the pictures are great and the directions and information seem easy to understand.

I like to use this with all my outdoor shoots. It really deepens the colors and gives more depth to the pictures. This is a great filter at an affordable price.

I am using my filter to take exterior landscape and wildlife pictures. I feel that the filter is easy to use and adds more depth to the pictures. I will be going to Alaska soon and know it will help with the water and snow.

I recently purchased an Olympus E-M10 II, and bought this lens to go along with it as a general-purpose prime lens. It's the first prime lens I've owned, and I see what all the hype is about. This lens is very sharp across the frame, and I'm very happy with the pictures I've been able to take. The rest of this review is meant for those like me coming from a kit lens-only background (it will be obvious to everyone else). I can't overstate how nice it is to be able to shoot indoors in low light without a flash. Pictures look much more natural. You have to be more careful about focusing accurately due to the shorter depth of field, but the trade-off is that you can isolate your subject better. I took some candid family pictures at a birthday party recently, and I the combination of natural lighting, accurate focus, and short depth of field yielded some of the best family pictures I've ever taken. In summary, I highly recommend this lens at its price point to anyone looking for a standard prime lens for micro four-thirds cameras. You won't be disappointed.

This is a must have lens if you want to click amazing bokeh pictures without spending a ton of money. I wouldn't necessarily call this the best low light lens due to the shallow depth of field it provides.Yes you can move behind and increase the depth of field at f1.4 but I guess you don't have much options here Compared to a 50mm 1.8 this is more expensive but definitely worth the money. Is it good on dx, definitely yes Will it help you take better pictured than your kit lens, in some regards yes Is it the best portrait lens - no there are better ones but on dx it would be a pretty close one

This product has improved the saturation and depth of my pictures already. Looking back on the photos I took without it I can see the washed out look that could have been so much better. It fits easily on my lens and is easily stored in the case. It stays in the camera case at all times. thanks, Larry O'Connell
