Desk Units With Storage

I have several of these units and they work well for camera, ammunition and firearms storage.

Our office has been ordering many standup desks units, but we have many desks could not accommodate the model we have standardized on so when I found this unit I decided to gave it a try. This unit unlike others rises from the front and moves back so that those with overhead cabinets can join in the standing revolution. For those with short desks the base unit only needs 20\ of desk to rest securely. The keyboard tray easily accommodates a keyboard and mouse (even one users large MS Ergo KB) and the entire unit has a smaller foot print that many others.The assembly was simple and the instructions easily understood. The material is solid wood and the hardware mechanism all powder coated steel. I was very happy with the item and the users are enjoying their new desk setups. The price was also a big selling point too. about half the price of the big named brand we have been ordering.Modifications....One of the units I purchased was replacing a desk setup for a user who had a keyboard drawer. The problem was that this unit keyboard tray sits level with the desk. A quick review of the assembly instructions confirmed that I could change the points I attached the keyboard tray. This change would only allow me to attach the tray with two bolts but the material is more that strong enough to accommodate the mounting adjustment. This lowers the tray height 2 inches below the desk top surface

I have two $350+ brand name flash units broken on my desk, and this $90 off brand unit is my go to workhorse. Got it for small jobs when i dont need my strobes, and this thing has been worth its weight. Light is a tad cool, so i add a 1/8 CTO gel on front for most people applications. Otherwise, it lives long on a full charge and was easy enough to learn to operate.

I have one of the massive isolation units, but it's so heavy I can't put it on the extendible arm at my desk. When I'm recording myself, it's much easier to sit at the console and sing, than move to a stand. This fits the bill. It's light enough that the arm attached to my desktop can hold it, and I love the fact that it surrounds the mic and has a built in pop filter. Much more effective with less hassles!

Have multiple units for as many storage cases. Easy to recharge and reuse. Excellent solution for the purpose.

I got 2 - 14tb units and cleaned up a lot of disparate storage across multiple smaller devices, with loads of room to spare. That will keep me happy for a few years, until I need some 28tb units.

This is a great addition to the storage box, gives you places for filters, batteries, flash units and all your manuals

I bought 2 of these SSD to add to the other 2 units i already have for use as external storage for my video projects. I am amazed how fast they are compared to my original spinning hard drives storage method. I have been using Crucial SSDs in my computers for a couple of years without any complaints. It is only because of the recent drop in prices has it been practical to replace my Hard drive storage method with the Crucial SSD's... talk about a happy camper, I am one!

I purchased this unit as a kicker unit on my Einstein 640 which will supplement my Calument Travelite units. Works extremely well and like the simple setup. My one complaint is that this is so tiny that it can get lost in all the photographic equipment. They should have provided a storage compartment that can be attached to the Einstein unit for storage after use. I don't want to leave it in the unit with the antenna sticking out.

Running several trail cameras and GPS units, I found that this storage and transport method to be the most efficient. Put the carriers in a plastic Ziploc and transport them in your pack. A lot better than searching for loose batteries in the bottom of your pack. Use a different color carrier for the expended batteries to not confuse them with the good batteries.
