I use a desktop computer, so I just plug this into my front I/O ports. Works really well and my pictures download really fast. No complaints. 5 |

For years I used the P-Touch Label maker and decided because I'm on my desktop computer more and more these days that i would treat myself to a Label maker that allowed me to display on screen the label , size plus add characters and symbols like Chinese symbols , all from my computer and then print the label quickly and error free . No more wasted tapes printing out what i thought I had typed. This unit sits neatly next to my desktop screen within easy reach . The only fault would be not having a Shortcut on-screen so I don't have to hunt it down among my other programs . But anyway I love this Label Maker . 5 |

Just from judging my pictures on my computer screen, this lens clearly provides more detail and consistency compared to the kit lens (AF-S 17-70mm f3.5-f4.5G ED-IF) that I got with my D200 a couple of years ago. However, it also demonstrates how good my kit lens actually is for the money ($. For casual photography and traveling, the kit lens does a great job, it's light-weight and much smaller than this one. Nevertheless, this new 24-70mm f2.8 is a keeper, IMO, and I expect to get the full potential out of it once I upgrade to a full frame body (D700, D3) or decide to produce larger paper prints. 5 |

I actually bought this at a bed & bath store with a coupon. I really like it. It is sturdy and very well made. The screen is a good size, very visible and produces a reasonably good picture. It is also very easy to use. I haven't tried to edit any of the pictures yet, but most of these products use the same software--ArcSoft PhotoImpressions 6. My only complaint, and it seems to be the same with most of these converter products; and I have had others, is that the power cord/USB cable is fairly short making it difficult to go any distance away from a flat surface. My only disappointment, and it's not the fault of the manufacturer or the product is that I wanted a converter where I can view the pictures right on my computer screen as I slide them through. I thought this one would do that, but it requires an extra step. It will hold up to 32 MB in it's internal memory, but once that is full, you will need to either copy the pictures onto your hard drive or from the converter onto a SD card and then into your computer. Thus, the extra step. But if that isn't a problem for you, then it's well worth purchasing. I do like it and think it's a great product for the money and does what it is intended to do. 5 |
