These are simple but great brackets. We use these to hang headset amplifiers (mainly the Behringer HA8000) on the wall. This bracket is nice and sturdy - it doesn't bend or flex. The square holes for mounting equipment allow you to use non-standard rack stuff also! Includes screws and nuts for mounting equipment and also screws for wall mounting, but we use drywall anchors to mount it to our walls.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JBL Bar 300 is a compact soundbar that packs a mighty punch. From the factory, JBL provides everything you need to get started. With the Bar 300, you get wall mount brackets, an HDMI cord, a power cord, and a remote with batteries. I wanted to mount my Bar 300 below my wall mounted TV, so I ordered additional universal mounting brackets and got to work. The bracket mounts on the bottom of the Bar 300 are very shallow; I had to be careful when attaching the brackets to not over tighten the bolts. After getting the Bar 300 fixed to my TV mount, the rest of the setup was a cinch. I used a Digital Optical cable to connect my Bar 300 to my PC. My PC is able to output Dolby Digital at 192kHz to the Bar 300 and it sounds fantastic. On the Bar 300, I adjusted the bass to the max, level 5, and didn't adjust any other equalizer settings. I also allowed the soundbar to automatically calibrate before listening to any music. Afterwards, I listened to my favorite demo song, Comfortably Numb and was blown away. I was surprised at the bass the Bar 300 provides without a subwoofer. It also clearly presented the high notes with great clarity. Watching Twitch streams allows the Dialogue Enhancement tech to really shine. Broadcasters now come through over the gameplay and music without being muffled. Overall the Bar 300 is a great compact sound bar that brings JBL's high quality sound to the living room.

High quality metal brackets, the screws could be better quality. Does its job, it mounts the stuff to the wall or wherever else you decide.

If you have the studio space to set up your backdrop stands or wall brackets to the full width then it's perfect as is. I am not so lucky. I'm in a small NYC apartment where I'm setting this up on a wall mounted triple bracket with a Manfrotto Expan drive. I had to mount the brackets where the studs lined up and didn't get in the way of furniture. This meant my total width from bracket to bracket is 90.5 and roughly 2.5 per side for the Expan drives from where they insert to where they slide into the bracket. I was able to do a sloppy job of cutting the pole down to fit at 86 with an old, dull hack saw. I sanded down the edge after cutting for future safety when I have to change out a roll of paper but it wasn't neccessary. And for $40....I wasn't dreading permanently cutting my brand new studio equipment to a different size.
