I have 4 of these. They took the place of random storage in plastic bags and the bottom of drawers. I like them because they are waterproof and secure, yet easy to open without breaking a fingernail, unlike some other competitors. Not expensive and highly recommended. 5 |

I use the Yeti for screencast voiceover work, and it rocks. It is the quietest USB mic I have tested, and the tone and clarity of the recordings that it produces are amazing. At first, I thought that I didn't like the loosness of the volume and gain knobs, but it actually makes sense that they have some play to reduce finger noise when adjusting on the fly. The mic, while big (very big and heavy, but not too heavy without the desktop stand attached), fits nicely into my Rode SM2 Shockmount. It won't go all of the way in, but I wouldn't want it to as that would obscure the knobs. I just curl the USB cord underneath it and set it in there and it works out well. Is this a stage-ready solution? No, because the Yeti is not actually attached to the mount, but it's perfect for stationary desktop boom-arm applications. All in all, I'd say BUY THIS MIC !!! You probably won't find a better deal than B&H offers either (at least, I couldn't). 5 |
