I teach Industrial Pressure Relief Valve Maintenance Repair Seminars for NASA Locations, Nuclear Stations, Oil Refineries and National Board Certified Repair Shops. This is my 4th and tallest Gitzo going back to 1972. I still have and use all of them. Parts are usually available when repair is rarely needed. I bought this one for flying bird photography with big teles and the Gitzo fluid gimbal head. Works great! If you are going into tough places, Gitzo tripods are sturdy, reliable and one less thing to worry about.
