Did The Voice Stop Studio Recordings

The Mic is used for recording dialogue during interviews and as well studio voice over recordings. It is replacing a Sennheiser MKE 600 and the difference in the sound quality is quite noticeable. I had both of these mics operating and recording recently and my 8 year old put on the headphones and switched between the 2 of them several times and said he loved his voice with the 416. I realize he is not an audio expert but he picked the 416 each time. I will agree with him 100%.

Its either this or a U-87 for voice over recordings. And the 416 is a lot more forgiving.

It is a simple solution to hold my Rode NT1-a mnicrophone to do voice over recordings.

This is a great option for basic and clean voice recordings. It has its limits but it served well for remote recordings.

This mic is very good for podcasting, voice over, small music recordings. I've been using this for about a week and I could not be happier. The usb hook up was very easy, and Goes great if you have Garage Band. I have an IMac and this is a perfect mic just breaking in with music recording, or voice over's. THIS IS A VERY GOOD MIC!!!!

I do various recordings as far as voice, musical instrument instruction videos, music tracks for various clients. For a while, I've used the Blue Yeti and always knew I needed a better mic but didn't know what to get. Plugins in post can take you very far but, overall I knew I needed better hardware. This mic was rated very high for it's quality to cost ratio. I'm a saxophonist and I needed a large diaphragm condenser for what I wanted to do and this was at the top of the pile of my choices. It was a major quality increase. I paired it with a Focusrite 2i2. Very round and thick sounding. I've watched videos and comparisons It's response curve is relatively flat compared to the NT1-A. Also it's extremely quiet. I won't need another mic for quite awhile.

An excellent microphone for voice recording, or making small home recordings. I really recommend your purchase
