This mic will pretty much blow your mind with how clean it records. The brass instrument clip isn't that great. It wouldn't stay secured on the trumpet I mounted it on. Plus, certain mutes will prevent it from mounting entirely. I'm sure the clip is very instrument dependent, so plan for backup mounting options. When in doubt, gaff tape. 5 |

For the price, this is one very amazing value. I'll be using it to carry a pricey slide didgeridoo. Although it is the much roomier than necessary for my purposes, it is perfect length. The slight padding, which may be only 1/4 inch, is sufficient as long as the bag doesn't end up on the bottom of a pile. The shoulder strap is a nice feature but it is not detachable so it can get in the way when not in use. The extra outside pocket is completely flat so it won't be holding much. 5 |
