Die Hard Arcade Machine
Matthew | 2024-06-15 09:54:12 |
I have an arcade machine with over 30,000 games on it. It tears up normal hard drives, makes them run super hot and slow. I have had several hard drives go up on me because it is trying to access to much date. This SSD was expensive but worth every penny. The games run 10 times faster and this hard drive never heats up. If you have a MAME arcade machine this is the answer. 5 |

This has been great for printing decals for our arcade machines. 5 |

Bought this machine to replace a much older Epson that decided to die after many years of devoted service. That machine left very big shoes to fill, primarily as the key printer for an iMac using Greeting Card Factory for Windows XP via Parallels Desktop. This new Epson stepped right up, working well in both Mac and XP modes, producing the high quality expected of the greeting cards it printed. As usual B&H staff made sure the product was delivered in a very timely manner. 5 |

Normally i’m a die hard full size receiver and tower speakers guy, especially with home theater audio. My wife didn’t want another full setup in our (16’x 14’) bedroom so we opted for a soundbar and a wireless sub. I’m honestly shocked at how loud this thing can get, all while staying clear too. The imaging and scoundscape is impressive for its size and configuration. The bass is enough and adjustable if it’s late or otherwise not wanted. The voice enhancing option is great too, especially when low volume levels are ideal. I’d say this is great place to start and a relatively small purchase for great audio. I’ll agree with a earlier comment about the remote not being great, it works mostly but at times is finicky about transmitting the function and it’s marginally difficult to find the buttons in low light. We’ve been using it for about three years with no issues, looking to get one for our oldest kiddo too. 5 |

This company always impresses me I am a die hard fan and just cant stop buying their products. I have killed big game animals across the continent with there scopes to include Bear, Elk, Deer, Caribou and others. So obviously when I built a new sheep rifle in 300 win mag I went to vortex for my scope. I picked this one because of the amazing price point and glass quality. I needed a scope to help me make shoots on the go out to 600 yards for sheep hunting in Alaska. I am amazed by the clarity and accuracy of this scope. I highly recommend it. 5 |

I'm a die hard Panasonic fan however other B&H reviews of this camera piqued my interest enough to buy one. After using it I've purchased a total of three. What many former reviewers have said about the menu system is true. This is a very easy and intuitive menu system. The images are fantastic and even in Apple ProRes video mode, the dynamic range is so great you must see it to believe it. I still find myself wanting to color grade the footage with very little to no image degradation. This is not a run and gun camera. You must put a lot of thought and planning into your images and setups while using this camera. Knowing that, this is a fine camera for documentary or narrative work. 5 |

Im a long time die hard Intel fan. And for many years, that was easy to do, since Intel was so far ahead of AMD in terms of performance. Not so anymore. I have a lot of PC gamer friends who made the switch to AMD, but I held out for a long time. Upgraded from an i5-8400 to an i5-9600k, hoping it would get rid of my lag, and give me more performance. Not the case. After making the switch to this processor, my days of lagging are gone. Even everyday performance is better. Unzipping files, multitasking, and photo editing all increased in performance. 5 |

In the end of day, are you making money as photographer or simply a die hard enthusiast? This camera is what most people need with decent FX lens.If you simply have less than 2000 actuation on your DSLR, you made a wrong investment. I moved from d5100 DX to this bad boy. The d810 was in my price range as well, but it wasnt practical since Im not traveling around the world and abusing it in every way possible. I didnt need the extra features and a tougher body. Maybe a D900 in the future?? 5 |

I have been a die hard Nikon shooter for years. On purchasing and using Sony gear I have become a Sony convert. I love this camera!! 5 |
