Difference Between 40Mm And 44Mm Samsung Watch

Fits my Series 5, 44mm. Protects and does not cover the beauty of the watch. 5 |

I received my Apple Series 6 (40mm) with stainless steel case a few weeks ago and wanted to have some use logged before writing a review. I have not worn a watch in 12+ years. My purchase was initially due to the blood oxygen & sleep technology; however, I found that the Activity, Steps, Standing, and Heart rate info has been a real boon in getting a handle on my overall fitness. I have been slow to embrace new technology as I only got a smart phone (SE 2020) last year. The watch works with the phone to display all of the functions (health apps) that I have chosen from the Apple Health Suite. I am particularly impressed with the hand washing app that tracks duration of this important personal health activity in the Covid world. Although it has a fast charger that magnetically attaches to the back of the case, I wish it was faster, but not enough to detract from the 5 Star rating. Glad it is part of my personal attire. I switch between watch faces as the mood dictates, cool. 5 |

I have replaced my Canon EF 17-40mm with the Canon EF 16-35mm and what a difference it made. This lens is sharp and with the IS, I am able to shoot in much lower light and get quality images. So far, this lens has not let me down. 5 |

The testing was done using an Olympus EM-1 II. When mounted on a tripod and using a release cable, no IS, test through the full range at different apertures turned out fairly sharp, with not too much fall-off at the edges. In A-B comparisons with the Olympus 12-40mm f/2.8 the OM 12-100m f/4.0 fared reasonably well. Shots through comparable ranges, mostly at f/4.0 and f/5.6, again showed them close, with maybe an edge to the 12-40mm. A big difference, though, was when using C-AF&TR mode, the 12-40mm was consistently better. Using single shot for both gave essentially the same results. The purported additional IS with the lens/camera combination did not seem to make one iota of difference. The 12-40mm and the 12-100mm seemed identical at lower shutter speeds. Repeated testing under a fairly controlled environment (static target, consistent lighting, etc.) confirmed this. The 12-100mm seems to have slightly less contrast than the 12-40m. Final conclusion is the 12-100mm is worth the cost and compares well with the 12-40mm (which I've used for years so am very familiar with), but the 12-100mm requires a little more work to get the same results. Shipping firmware version is 1.4, same as the original Olympus 12-100, which is consistent with this being the same lens, just relabelled with the OM Systems label. I'd give it a 4.5 if that was possible, compared to a 5.0 I'd give the 12-40mm. 5 |
