Difference Between Baritone And Regular Guitar
8-String Fred | 2024-06-06 06:34:24 |
I'm a jazz guitarist playing an 8-string classical guitar that goes higher and lower than a regular guitar. It has a K & K pickup and I my amp is a JBL EON powered speaker, which, for this instrument sounds better than any jazz guitar amp. I have used the Zoom A-3 preamp as well as an L.R. Baggs Venue DI. They are both very good but I'd say the Grace Alix is the best I've found. It has great features you can read about but I must say that the sound of my guitar with the EQ set flat is strong, clear and simply amazing! It's very well thought out. Worth the price. 5 |

I almost bought a Princeton but glad I didn’t even without the price difference. This is great for anything from “bedroom” to gigs and for most genres. It’s also about as small and light as you can get and still have a 12” speaker. The tone is full and deep. The cleans are amazing with each guitar sounding like the guitar and not so much the amp. Lots of headroom. It also has a full range of breakup from barely to great overdrive. At any volume. Having been a Fender fan for years I am reverb addicted. Not much difference between spring on my Boss pedal and this amp’s except for depth which stops before you feel wet. It’s pleasant and adequate. I plugged in my studio monitor headphones to try the cabinet emulated out and it does sound great. Maybe even better. It does have a lot of low end especially in the house. To get rid of that with the single tone control I just dialed it up and used the guitar tone controls to tame treble if needed. If you want a small, light, Swiss Army knife amp with great tone and reasonable price this is worth a look. 5 |

Installed these where we had been using standard mikes, and the difference is fantastic! These mikes are truly dedicated to getting that true guitar sound back to the board!! 5 |

All of the equipment and software I have purchased I never woke up to learning how much difference a pre-amp at this level makes. Instruments: Bass guitar, lead guitar, acoustic guitar - it is amazing the fullness it pulls out of these instruments, and that is fullness with headroom. A great addition for voiceovers. Now on the microphones: tested on our condenser mics (Schoeps and AT 4053b) and our Dynamic (Beyerdynamic, Shure) mics. It is hard to put into words the differences. Present system: ProTools, Focusrite Saffire 56, ArtPro Channel pre's, Presonus pre's. This is a game changer investment. Spend it here before you drop the extra $ on the mic. 5 |

I am a part time musician. This product really made a difference in my guitar rig. I have this item mounted into a rack case and have my guitar amp, pedal board and effect s processor all running off this unit. It has cleaned up some power issues i have been dealing with and has eliminated almost all of 60 cycle hum. It seemed to clean up the power while protecting my entire set up. I am a fan 5 |

you cant really appreciate this amazing boom arm till you actually use it. for any photographer who thinks that details make the difference this tool is an amazing thing to have , the ease of use compatibility and ergonomically design make your lighting shaping so much easy, precise and super fast , this tool eliminate the all obstacles and discomfort of tiding nobs and climbing, you literally do it with a tip of your finger and get a surgical precision....and YES .... 25 + pound of gear load as far as the price goes ,$400 and change , if you think about the fact that it cost about 150 dollars to get a regular boom arm ,matthews or avenger , for an extra $250 you getting a top notch tool that exceed the regular boom arm experience by light years . only thing that i found as a con is the weird glossy screaming red color in one of the elements ,i gaffed tape it in black ........ problem solved 5 |

They may look like regular bulbs and the light color may look similar, but the camera sees the difference. 5 |

I was on the fence for so long about which version of this lense to purchase...The Regular 85mm 1.2 or the DS Defocus Smoothing) version. I struggled with the 1/3 loss of light due to the coating which makes The DS version Special. Guess what? Its so small you dont even notice. And the result is like...SPECTACULAR. As a professional it's the subtleties that make all the difference. And sometimes that difference can seal a deal, it can please a very important eye or simple Capture an image in a manner that is so stunning you forget how much you paid for the lens. If you want to know if this lense is worth the hype? It is. Buy it, you wont regret it. 5 |
