Great improvement over my standard SM57 on guitar amps.

Between the fast declicked aperture, standard gears, compact design, quality construction for lenses which aren't all metal, and unreasonably low cost, these lenses are the best value you can find for under $2000. And I mean $2000 a piece. Here you get four lenses for that much. The one place you'd figure they would suffer is image quality, which isn't the case. Stopped down to T2.8, they are tack sharp on my GH4 with Speedbooster XL. Opened up to T1.5 or T2.0, they have some character while maintaining contrast and resolution. Color matching across the set of lenses is a big plus to my post production workflow, as I grade all of my own shots. The only real competing lenses are those from Vedra which are marginally slower, but sharper wide open and about twice as expensive. Combined with a Speedbooster on a M43 camera, these lenses are my first choice for low budget filmmakers looking to own their own set of cinema primes.

The mic is great of course. An industry standard and first choice for most professionals to mic a guitar amp. I'm no pro but I concur - works fine for me! Handled vocals too. The rest of the kit (mic stand and XLR cable) is surprisingly good quality too - overall a great buy!

I almost bought a Princeton but glad I didn’t even without the price difference. This is great for anything from “bedroom” to gigs and for most genres. It’s also about as small and light as you can get and still have a 12” speaker. The tone is full and deep. The cleans are amazing with each guitar sounding like the guitar and not so much the amp. Lots of headroom.  It also has a full range of breakup from barely to great overdrive. At any volume. Having been a Fender fan for years I am reverb addicted. Not much difference between spring on my Boss pedal and this amp’s except for depth which stops before you feel wet. It’s pleasant and adequate. I plugged in my studio monitor headphones to try the cabinet emulated out and it does sound great. Maybe even better. It does have a lot of low end especially in the house. To get rid of that with the single tone control I just dialed it up and used the guitar tone controls to tame treble if needed.   If you want a small, light, Swiss Army knife amp with great tone and reasonable price this is worth a look.

All of the equipment and software I have purchased I never woke up to learning how much difference a pre-amp at this level makes. Instruments: Bass guitar, lead guitar, acoustic guitar - it is amazing the fullness it pulls out of these instruments, and that is fullness with headroom. A great addition for voiceovers. Now on the microphones: tested on our condenser mics (Schoeps and AT 4053b) and our Dynamic (Beyerdynamic, Shure) mics. It is hard to put into words the differences. Present system: ProTools, Focusrite Saffire 56, ArtPro Channel pre's, Presonus pre's. This is a game changer investment. Spend it here before you drop the extra $ on the mic.

I am a part time musician. This product really made a difference in my guitar rig. I have this item mounted into a rack case and have my guitar amp, pedal board and effect s processor all running off this unit. It has cleaned up some power issues i have been dealing with and has eliminated almost all of 60 cycle hum. It seemed to clean up the power while protecting my entire set up. I am a fan

Wouldn't hesitate to buy another. And the extra foot of cable really does make a difference over the standard 3' cable.
