Difference Between R6 And R7

I already had an R6, this body replaces an R7 so the controls are about the same. I keep an 800RF on my primary body and 18-300 on the other. Had my first outing with the new body and very happy with the performance.

Got it to store my Canon R6, R7 and three lenses and they fit in there perfectly. I'd recommend measuring twice and cutting once to make sure you get it fitting in there correctly.

I bought the Canon EOS R6 Mk II to replace my EOS R7 which was too much inconsistent regarding the focusing. In that area the R6 Mk II is very much better and is an excellent back up camera for my R5. I will use the R6 Mk II combined with the Canon RF 24-240 mm mainly for wildlife photography but also for landscape photography. To now I am very happy with the R6 Mk II even though I sometimes miss the 32.5 Megapixel crop sensor of the R7.

I have had this lens for a few weeks now. I actually bought it to go with an EOS R7 (which I don't have yet) - - but in the interim I've used it with both my R6 and R5 bodies. This is a great little lens! I've read reviews that indicate that this lens gets too oft at the higher focal lengths, but I have not found that to be the case. This lens appears sharp and produces high quality images throughout the focal range, as long as photography basics (e.g., shutter speed, controlling camera/lens movement) are adhered to.. Based on my experience with this lens, I'd gladly recommend it!!

This is the perfect accessory for my Canon R8. I also own an R6 Mark II which is just a little larger than the R8 and so I could feel the difference in size immediately. I have large hands and was a little uncomfortable to hold. TBH I seriously considered returning the R8 because of this but I didn't want to because the R8 itself is a powerhouse in its own right too. I did not want to go the route of a huge battery grip and so the extension grip looked like a good alternative despite my apprehension that the extension grip would be enough to make a difference. This extension grip is perfect. It makes the camera feel more like my R6 Mark II and has a solid feel to it and while at first glance the extension grip doesn't like it would make that much of a difference, it absolutely does. It is mostly an all-metal construction, so it also adds a little bit of extra heft to the R8 which makes a ton of difference to the overall feel of the camera. It fits perfectly to my R8, and the rubberized grip around the extension grip feels exactly the same as the grip on the R8. There was a lot of thought that went into this grip and access to battery and SD card via the battery door works flawlessly. I personally feel that the cost is appropriate for the extension grip. It's a well-built, solid piece of equipment that definitely adds a better experience to my Canon R8.

I bought these to replace the skinny stock wheels that came on my R6. Makes a huge difference if you are going over anything that's not smooth concrete. I wish they just made these stock on the cart to begin with.

Great way to have that sturdy feeling while holding my R6. Makes a huge difference. Can also charge the batteries in the unit. It does the lowest charged battery first, then the other. That's cool. I would recommend the grip for the extra battery power.
