Difference Between Wind And Woodwind Instruments

This mic sounds very nice for vocals, plucked string instruments, and woodwind instruments (at least that's what I've tried it on). I highly recommend it!

I use this mic to record string and wind (brass mostly) instruments.  The different patterns make it effective in a variety of spaces depending on whether you want to reject other sounds or include reflections.  Versatile and great sound quality.

I like wind instruments. This is that and so much more. Nice features make playing sound like the real thing. Tried it all but haven't used it as a midi controller yet

I only had the foam shield before this; what a difference this windshield makes! Cuts down on wind noise.

slides on very nice. im not sure its making a big difference on wind.

I had project were we started without this DeadCat , and after we bought it. The difference is very significant with wind noise.

Between my television and my earphone

I had always just put up with wind in the promos and light drama I shoot, but not anymore. This tool makes a big difference in toning down or cutting off wind noise completely. Wish I had bought one years ago.

I use this Wind Diffusion on a Sennheiser K6, with an ME-64 and ME-62 mic capsule. The first time i used it was on camera. It was a very windy day on a large lake in Upstate, NY. I could not believe the difference it made over the cheapo foam wind screen that I'd been previously using. The difference was as clear as day and night. While watching the video, you could see that it was a windy day, however, there were no telltale signs to be found. The unit is also very well built, and should last through many years of constant use.
