Difference Of Blue And Red Switch Mechanical Keyboard

Grabbed one of these for work with the blue switches and I can actually type faster on it than the keyboard that I use at home. I will only use full sized keyboards and they have to be mechanical and clicky for me so this hits the sweet spot. Much better than the dozens of other low priced mechanical keyboards I've owned and nearly as good as the custom GMMK that I use at home. Can't beat this for the price. 5 |

This keyboard is my first mechanical keyboard. Amazing keyboard, with the Cherry MX Blue switches (there are other kinds as well) giving good feedback and audible click. Would definitely recommend this keyboard! Key puller- make sure you have it gripped on the bottom of the key; not on the side. Pull up straight, not at an angle. Use the 'FN' key to use the functions on the F keys (the top row of keys) B&H Photo Video shipped it kinda slow, but it was the holiday season! 5 |

This is my first mechanical keyboard and it is incredible. Feels very well built, and the MX Cherry Blue switches have that clickity goodness that I wanted. 5 |

I bought the Logitech K845 to replace an old keyboard that came with my desktop. It costs much more than a non-mechanical keyboard, but what a difference. The keys are nicely spaced, with each key slightly concave to give a good feel while you're typing. The LED back lighting has only one color - white, which I prefer. All in all, this keyboard is great for everyday business use. 5 |

This is a high quality mechanical switch keyboard. There are lots of those. There aren't many with this design esthetic and my daughter loved it. 5 |

I have been struggling with 3 mechanical switch boxes to bounce between my two dual monitor Macs. The video switches, after a few weeks, began to fail. The contacts became faulty and the monitors displayed incorrect colors or incorrect luma. I had to manipulate the switch to get a near decent image. Now remember I had to use a USB switch for my keyboard and mouse. Same story. The connections were intermittent causing erratic performance. The Iogear Dual View 2 port KVM (GCS1742) exceeded my expectations. The installation procedure was well documented and went without a hitch. The switch comes with all of the cables necessary. Both of my computer now communicate with both monitors, my keyboard and mouse, my audio out and audio in, seamlessly using a fraction of the desk real estate of my previous setup. When all is said and done this switch performs flawlessly and has greatly simplified the cabling needed to achieve the dual monitor, keyboard, speaker and microphone connection to two computers. I am quite pleased to find a product that efficiently does what it claims to do. 5 |

I would like to start by saying that the thank you card inside the box was a very nice touch. Bravo. All that I wanted was a keyboard where the keys themselves light up. -not the back of the keys-. The reason I wanted this is because my apartment is very poorly lit. I initially contacted best buy. I did my best to explain to them what I was looking for. It is possible that I did not explain my specifications correctly. They might of gotten stuck on my statement that I did not want one of those rainbow light up keyboards, which seem to be trending right now. During that call, I did not initially consider things like how blue LED lights can impact sleep patterns (lots of science on that. look it up). But this keyboard lets you switch back and forth between blue and red (red helps with sleep). And also purple (which is just fun!) The letters are also large. I am young but I do not have the best vision. Like I said, this keyboard is exactly what I wanted. 5 |

This is the best keyboard that your money can buy. Better than the Falchion because it is larger, the keys are more comfortable and spread apart better. It lights up beautifully, looks great, and it made of heavy duty metallic casing. I love the pink and black color combination matched with the AURA synch: it looks AMAZING! I got this on a whim, and I was going to hook it up to my other computer, but when I plugged it in and started using it, I immediately realized that this is a way better keyboard even than the wireless Falchion. I would recommend this keyboard over any of the other keyboards out there. Great response time, Wired for speed, and very comfortable and easy to use keys. I got the 'red' key press level: make sure you try a red, blue or brown style switches. I prefer the red (which is linear) for speed and comfort, but some people prefer the blue for clickyness, or the brown tactile switches. 5 |

Purchased the blue switch before this and was just too clicky for me. This one is a perfect tactical keyboard, responsive, comfortable, and beautiful. 5 |

I am a software engineer, I brought this for work. I do a lot of typing for work. I loved typing on this keyboard so badly. Cherry MX blue switch is really good for typing with that clicky feedback, feels so satisfying. Even though people are talking about how noisy the blue switch could be and how it is not for working environment because it annoys coworkers. I found this particular keyboard construction not noisier than coworkers normal keyboard. Probably thanks to the metal plate and heavy sturdy body. It is like a guitar without its wooden soundboard body wouldn't make much sound because it is only a string. Yes this key board is relatively quiet for daytime office usage. Cons: 1. I wish we have more choices on angles. You can solve this eventually. 2. I brought a wrist rest pad for this keyboard, keyboard is thick, with metal edge making my wrist a little bothered without the pad. Again, not something really serious. 5 |
