I have been so impressed with the purchase of this camera.  I have to say that I have had quite a wake-up call with regard to the influencers on Youtube as well.  They all indicated that this camera could not focus in low light, had banding and could not track subjects.  They also said that the lenses were low grade.   I have to say that everything they said, as far as I am concerned, is inaccurate.   I love the 24-70 f4 and the 50 f1.8 that I bought with the camera.  I am also impressed with the FTZ adapter that I use for my 70-200 f2.8 Tamron G2 and 14-24 f2.8 Nikkor.  I have not been disappointed at all. In fact I have been more than pleased.  I did have to work through the manual more than I have with my other Nikons because there are some differences, but the task was not overwhelming and the time well spent.  Honestly, I tend to study the manual, and at least one good handbook by a third party anyway.  It really helped a lot to understand some of the differences in the Z 6 and learning how to utilize things like the I menu. I like, David Buschs Nikon Z6 Guide to Digital Photography. I have his books for each of my Nikons.  I find them helpful when I get stuck in the manual.   All and All... I wish I could buy two of these cameras.  If you are on the fence and not sure that you want to spend the money DO NOT pick one of the Z cameras up and look through the Electronic View Finder.  IF you do it is all over.  You will be looking for someone to take your money... I am not exaggerating.

I've come from using a Fuji X-Pro 2 and I am really enjoying the differences that the Sigma FP presents. Many positive things have been said about the video side of this device, but I mainly use it for stills. It's not a perfect camera, my Fuji is faster to use, I miss the view finder, I hate that it can't take fast pictures. And yet, despite these flaws I love it. The image quality is amazing, the colours are really nice. I love how modular the camera is. The 45mm kit lens is great, and it makes for a really small package for travel. If you are going to use larger lenses, get a cage. The Small Rig ones are very affordable and nice. When travelling I love that I can charge the camera with my USB C phone charger. It's a simple thing, but it makes the world of difference. I have no regrets, buy it!

I got the 60D from my wife for Christmas and I love this camera. I was using an old Rebel XTI and the differences are amazing. The 60D takes great photos. I found it very good for inside pictures and low light conditions. The selection dial took a little bit to get use to but after a day it feels normal. Great battery life. I didnt think the swivel LCD would be that big of a deal but it has turned out to be very useful.

I hear some of the mirrorless lenses might actually be better than the old Nikkor lenses. I have seen a couple videos on Youtube analyzing the differences on the mirrorless camera.

Comparing this camera to the SL2 is more apples and oranges than I would have thought. The SL2-S is great in low light, and has somewhat faster autofocus. While both cameras produce gorgeous images, there are differences in what comes directly out of the camera. They are not huge differences and can be easily corrected afterwards. The best review of this camera I have seen, and one that explores the differences between the SL2-S and the SL2 is the review from Steve Huff (one of the reviews on this site). I think that he provides an accurate assessment. I am still getting used to both cameras but I really enjoy the feel of the SL series camera body and the ease of use of the controls. While I bought the SL2 before the SL2-S came out, I can see that there are enough differences between the two that I am quite happy to have both. I think the SL2 excels in landscape, architecture, and in anything where I need to crop and can thus benefit from the larger file size. The SL2-S would be my choice for general purpose travel, evening and night photography (particularly street scenes), and most action-related stuff such as my dogs. Admittedly, neither camera has the incredible autofocus capability of recent higher end Sony or Canon cameras but both the SL2 and SL2-S are capable with the edge going to the SL2-S.

This is the first flood light I own and so far it has worked perfectly for what I need. Originally wanted to buy the on camera light, but after looking at the differences between the 2 and the price point, I bought this one. Love it !

After my X-T3 was stolen I decided to try a smaller sized camera. The X-T30 has the same great processor and many of the features are very similar. Key differences are size and weight, no ISO dial (which is fine as the Q menu is quickly accessible), the Q button is on the side versus the back and it takes some training to avoid hitting it, there is a pop up flash, there is only one card slot and the body isn’t weather sealed. None of these differences were material to me and while I will probably get a replacement X-T3 or maybe a used X-T2 at some point I really do enjoy using the X-T30 and its small size is a real plus. The lens is great. Far from a kit lens, it takes sharp pictures, has image stabilization and for the price it is a very solid build but not too heavy. I switched from Canon to Fuji. I have great respect for Canon but was drawn to Fuji by their menu systems and their control layout which makes it easy to make changes without digging through menus. The overall weight of camera body and lens was also a driver in my decision.

Battery fits camera as well as original. Main differences noted were that mA capacity of Power-2000 battery at 1500mA was higher and charge current of PT-59 700mA charger output was also much higher than the Sony 280mA charger for its 1080 ma battery. From some basic solar panel battery charging experience, I decided to purchased matching charger. Batteries charges in under 2 hours from low 40% level to 100%. Have not used Sony charger for these batteries, nor used this charger for the Sony battery due to current differences. Also like, and wanted, the 12VDC car power cord feature for camping and other outdoor excursions away from 115VAC. So far this choice has worked well together.
