Primarily, this integrated amp is being used for streaming music from a computer through Klipsch RP600M II speakers. It is connected to the computer via the USB DAC connection of the integrated amp. The sound quality is so much better than expected. Comparing it to my Rotel 1592 MKII (200 W integrated/costing $3200), it is every bit as good. The power and quality of sound is outstanding...a third of the price for the Rotel...but equal in quality. I am so glad B&H directed me toward this integrated as I was interested in purchasing the Marantz--same price with less power. Contrary to other reviews, the Loudness control is quite effective and does not impact volume control. There are more than adequate inputs...also, it has a subwoofer out which is a plus. It has plenty of reserve power, detail of sound, and, for the price, lots of features. So far I am not disappointed with any aspect of this integrated amp. 5 |

I am a physicist. (energy physics not matter physics). I am also a sound engineer, coincidentally, the control of sound energy. This amp is VERY GOOD for bench testing audio control devices and speakers. The addition of an unbalanced input makes it very handy for typical bench tests. Because I am retired I also use commercial speakers for my home stereo system. Use of commercial speakers is much cheaper than consumer speaker products that, by and large, do Not provide full range audio despite deceitful specs claiming otherwise. The commercial speaker is also built to last and far more reliable than consumer designs. (will last decades under home stereo use... my last amp lasted 31 years... speakers are still going strong) I use this amp as my home stereo amp driving 1,200 watt rated commercial speakers that actually reproduce 20Hz. (actual amp power use rarely exceeds 75 watts peak and 25 watts average) In that unique use... the amp fan noise is detectable so I place it behind a glass paneled cabinet. Aside from fan noise, the amp performs very well and for the price is one of the best bargains there is. Keep in mind... the typical consumer stereo amp is Designed To Fail and the primary reason is.... no active fan cooling. (a flawed design that minimizes ambient noise) The amp provides plenty of dynamic headroom (nearly 6dB under typical home stereo use) and presents no excessive noise floor problems. I use a receiver with balanced XLR outputs, a balanced 31 band EQ to drive the amp and control volume. My speaker connections are Speakon. Bottom line... A very good simple amp for multiple purposes at a very good price. If you are an engineer who loves music and movies you will quickly recognize the wisdom of putting up with a bit of fan noise to achieve excellent performance and very long term reliability. 5 |

I bought this to replace other non-digital compression and eq pedals. I was not interested in calling up many patches. I try to get a McCartney sound and along with nylon flats on a Hofner this allows me to dial it in. I use the Bassman preamp, para-eq's, graphic eq, dbx 160 and MXR stle compressors. I created 3 different patches, tic tac bass, plinky but full bass and deeper bass. I play with two acoustic guitarists in smaller rooms so I use a small Gallien Krueger amp or a Markbass 12 inch combo. My only complaint is that none of the compression settings have any visuals showing gain reduction so it's all up to my ears. Sound quality is great. I haven't spent much time trying out the other patches but their Markbass patch impressed me on how close it was to a Markbass amp. 5 |

Does what it purports to, allowing me to go from a TOSLINK output on my TV to an amp with no digital in. This was a real problem-solver for me. This is a quality product and a solid value. 5 |

Old school integrated amp with digital inputs. That's a good thing. It gives me a feeling of quiet confidence. It replaced an old Onkyo receiver that died. I bought an internet radio, so I didn't need a receiver. I use it in my bedroom stereo, so I don't need massive power; I doubt that I'll ever strain the 60 WPC power rating. I'm not an audiophile, and it sounds just fine to me. I wish I could offer glowing flowery reviews, but this thing just sits there and works just fine. It just sort of exudes understated quality and, hopefully, reliability. I've only had it for about three weeks, but so far I'm more than satisfied. 5 |

Have needed a new amp for some time. When I purchased my new 77 LG OLED, I pulled the trigger on this, as I knew I'd be using digital audio out which this amp accommodates. It also has coaxial digital in for my Blu-Ray player. it drives my ADS L980 acoustic suspension speakers with ease. Audio quality is smooth without stridency unless source material is poor. Very pleased! 5 |

There is no balance control and I don't need it. Built like a brick house. The Amp is all I needed to power my speakers without hum or hiss. Others who have seen and heard my new Amp agree with me and what I've said. I'm currently looking at a PYLE AM/FM Tuner Amp for my next WANT adventure... 5 |
