Digital Back For 4X5 View Camera

I was looking for a case for my Toyo View 4x5CX 4x5 view camera since the manufacturer's case was almost the cost of the camera itself. I was very pleased with not only the construction of this case, but with its light weight. The camera and contents stayed safe and secure on my first trip by car and boat.

I am happy that this is back in stock - I use it in my 4x5 view camera with great results. Highly recommended.

The LI-50B Olympus battery is a great addition to my Olympus Digital camera. It gives me plenty of Back-up power for longer than normal photo sessions.

I have a really nice Manfrotto tripod. I've used it with my 4x5 view camera. So, it can handle weight. But for my DSLR and larger lenses in a vertical position, I get lens droop. With this Arca style clamp, and the 3 Legged Thing QR11-LC Universal L-Bracket, that droop is history!

Just like the 35mm roll of film, but in 4x5 inch sheets for a view camera. Same fine grain, same depth of tonality

I chose this film as a good easy film to begin learning the 4x5 view camera. I am very impressed with the quality and tonal range of what I've shot so far. The value of this film versus higher-priced kodak film is great!

It has been many years since I did any lab work. I thank B and H for being here all of these years and still supplying the real way photography should be done. I just bought a 4x5 view camera and all the other things needed to make pictures. I look forward to using the Dektol to make Black and white photos in the lab once again.

Had one of these when I also owned a 4x5 Horseman view camera many years ago. Decided recently to get my Olympus 35mm OM-4 T refurbished to shoot black and white film again so rationalized purchasing this meter. So far it has helped me obtain consistent exposures when using the incident light method. Expensive but won't let you down...

I purchased this case to enable me to cart around a 4x5 monorail view camera through the mean streets of NYC. It has exceeded my expectations. It is extremely rugged, very stable rolling aroud on uneven sidewalks. I use it as a container, a table, a seat, a platform. It is fairly heavy, so it requires strength to carry upstairs. No big surprise. The interior pick & pluck foam worked as advertised. I'm very satisfied. It allows me to get bulky equipment anywhere.

As promised, my second test was with very old 135, 150 and 180 Schneider view camera lenses, again on my Sinar P. The results were excellent, especially on minimal depth of field, reverse Scheimpflug applications, but equally good on extended depth of field ( Scheimpflug ) applications. I'm confident that this X1D / adaptor combination will afford more movement than any non view camera option. Investing in a heavily discounted X1D new body only and using it on ones existing 4x5 system ( or even buying a used 4x5 ) offers one a cheap, medium format 50 MP studio camera with great camera movements and stunning image quality.
