Digital Back For Large Format Camera

This Pelican case is very rugged and just what I was looking for to carry my large format digital camera and one large macro lens. There was also room for my filters (Lee) and various accessories.

I use this to connect my digital back to the lens on my large format camera. The pushbutton on the device allows me to 'wake up' the digital back before pushing the shutter release. Works like a charm!

I needed to expand my Aperture library as my large format digital images had maxed out my hard drive. Easy to install, easy to relocate originals from my Aperture library to the G-RAID and now I have enough room to upload more images. It really helped organize my files and gives me a double back-up in addition to a separate external HD and a cyberspace backup.

I do large format giclee printing for artists, and bought this kit to be able to create the digital files for my clients, as well. I set these lights up in a matter of minutes; they lit my test piece perfectly, and I'm ready to go! I think I'll use them to start a portrait business, as well...

I must have about 20 of these for various lenses, digital, medium or large format. The caps are of excellent quality and fit is always perfect.

I am new to digital photography. I come from large format black and white. I recently purchased digital equipment except for my strobes circa 1980's. I am totally unfamiliar with all of the modern language of photography. I knew cords were no longer needed to sync strobes with my modern camera. I called for help and ordered the Vello Off-Camera TTL Flash Cord for my Nikon. I was able to successfully fire my Elinchrom strobes. The digital world seems much simpler than the old days of large format and waiting to see how your film develops!

I use these to create large format digital negatives for the purpose of creating contact prints. They do the trick perfectly! Very happy with my experience.

I purchased this large format paper to create 12x12 prints of my digital scrapbooking pages and needed photo paper that was acid free, lignin free, and doesn't fade easy. This art paper fit the bill. And with my photo software i was also able to lay out additional phothos fo traditional photo printing in the remaining 7 inches of paper with very little waste.
