This is simply a superb little camera. Just when you think Canon couldn't possibly out do itself they surprise you with a nice little gem like this SD780. The camera is exceedingly small, yet if you look at the specs for the dimensions it pretty much sizes up with a few other tiny digital point and shoots. But the smooth rounded styling and lack of any protrusions make it look and feel smaller that its stats would suggest. Personally, I prefer the all black finish. And the best thing is that Canon has still managed to keep the optical viewfinder no matter how small the camera seems to get! I don't really see a big difference, however in the 12.2 megapixels as opposed to only 5mp in the older SD400 and SD30 cameras. I like to shoot at ISO 80 whenever possible and especially in black & white, but that's just me. At this speed rating the picture quality is outstanding. The only real drawback is that noise begins to show up rather quickly at around 200 ISO and pretty much goes downhill from there. If visual noise is a trade off for more pixels, I think I would rather have fewer pixels and less noise. The HD video quality is also quite remarkable although I only used it a couple of times. This is a real great pocket camera to take along wherever you go. It's picture quality and performance leave the competition in the dust that even my digital SLR stays home collecting!! 5 |

This camera cover fits perfectly on my Canon xsi digital slr with kit lens. Having traveled with a well padded holster bag that provided more protection from bumps than I needed, I wanted to protect my camera with less bulk. I am able to access the camera quickly and cover it up with no more effort than before. With a fully charged battery and an ample memory card, my load is lighter and I am happy knowing my camera is protected. 5 |

There's not a camera on the market that can match Canon's new XA20 feature for feature and dollar for dollar. I like to read the manual cover to cover when I buy new electronic equipment. After a quick review it is easy to navigate through the menu to programs incorporated into this light weight beauty. And the list of features blows me away. From the great 20X variable speed Optical Zoom lens to performance in low light situations (1.5 Lux) this camera can't be beat. Since most of my work is outdoors, in deserts and on Safari, I would have liked the camera to be rain and dust proof. I would also like a battery that lasts longer than the BP-828 and a Canon dual battery charger. 5 |

I've used a battery grip on my first digital camera, which was a canon 20d and than a 5d mk2. Now with the new mark 4 the grip has to be part of the camera. I'm not used to the added controls yet, but as in my past cameras they are very well placed and convenient. I shoot a lot of vertical pictures, so this allows me to keep my elbows tucked in. Kind of old school, but that's the way we learned in the 70's. For me the grip never comes off of the camera, it does add weight to the camera, but for me it's well worth it. 5 |

I've had probably over 12 canon digital cameras in my life, just ordered the R6 and of course I ordered the battery grip. Honestly, I don't even do it for the extra battery, I would always have one in my bag anyway. It changes the whole ergonomics of the camera. I'm surprised canon just doesn't build these cameras with this built in. Don't order this camera or any other one without this piece of equipment. 5 |

Every digital Canon camera that I have has a battery grip. Easier to handle and provides additional power for flash and photos. 5 |

I'm glad I went with the original canon battery. The quality is excellent and it comes with a cover. 5 |
