Digital Camera Driver Disk

I was astonished about this kind of "HD Black" from Western Digital. We bougth this 1 Gb device around ten years ago (maybe even before) because other cheaper disks were faulty and nearly every year.we had to change and reinstall. At current date we've been using it over 30 thousands "Power on hours" and nearly 2.000 "load cycles" as i do realise by analising disk statistics... also moving it along different desktops/mini servers along last decade!!! Also we keep care of it by using a UPS but certainly this specific disk "was born" with a good DNA!!! We hope all recent and modern WD Black series have the same duration as we're very happy for our experience... while simultaneously crossing fingers

I replaced the Blue Western Digital disk (WD10JPCX) in a Lenovo 310 notebook with the Black Western Digital disk (WD10JPLX).  Both are 1 Terabytes but the Black is 7200 rpm with 32 GB cache while the Blue is 5400 rpm with 16 GB cache.  The Blue failed after 2 years of use; not sure why. The Black is rated as a better disk and so far no problems.

Western Digital are my go to hard drives.  I purchased four of these 6TB drives to use with disk carrier for backing up my LR images.  Fast and so far no problems.  My experience with WD disks has always been great.

This 1TB Western Digital portable hard disk drive was obtained for the purpose of providing system-wide data backup for an Apple iMac. It served the purpose perfectly. After after a very quick delivery of the product it was simply a matter of plugging it into the iMac (with the included USB cable). The OS X software immediately recognized the device and, after asking if it was appropriate, configured and started the backup software to use it. It was plug 'n play in action.

For the second time I had to rebuild my backup Western Digital disk drive (one of two) and I was concerned that I am going to lose everything. I bought this and reconfigured as RAID 1 and daisy-chained another USB-C hub to the unit. I would agree with other comments that the user guide isn't exactly correct and the online registration system didn't work. Not a problem though according to G-Tech's customer service. Just keep the receipt in case of warranty issues. Sooooo, on my iMac Pro, this is quiet and ultra fast. I am very happy with this purchase.

I have been using San Disk memory cards since I started digital photography in 2008. These ate the only cards I use. They are reliable and dependable. I never had a problem with them and I know I have the shot secure and safe.

I use it as a back up for my digital camera.

Love B& H....gets here on time ! San Disk is my preferred disk !
