At this price point, you are going to be getting a great camera whose only faults are nitpicks. I was coming from the Canon 6D Mark II and had a lot of fears when switching from a DSLR full frame to a Mirrorless micro 4/3. However, the GH5S has proven to be an excellent camera that I can trust. My biggest fear was the digital eyepiece since I had found it disorientating when trying it at my local camera store. Having more time to use it, I am a huge fan of it (but I still like my 6D’s opticial viewfinder more). The important aspect of the GH5S to remember is that it’s a video camera first, then a stills camera. I am keeping my 6D Mark II for photos but I am turning all my video work to this beast of a cinema camera. 5 |

The camera may have a few faults like one card, but as far as having high ISO with low noise this camera excels. I have many Nikon DSLRs and lenses, but I wanted a camera to shoot at dusk in low light and was contemplating the Nikon D5, however this camera has more resolution than the D5 and costs less than half including the legacy lens adapter. 5 |
