Cool Features, like Panorama maker on the camera, beauty shot, Camera Mode w/digital zoom during video option. Shutter Speed is exteremly fast almost instant, great for capturing those fastmoving moments. Batter Life about 600+ pictures with flash, Re-charable Ion Battery. 5 |

Although I usually choose Sony for my point & shoot digital cameras, after doing my research, I found the Canon PowerShot SX730 HS to be exactly what I was looking for. After nearly one month of using this camera daily on my European vacation, I found it absolutely perfect for my needs. The price was comparable to others that offered similar, but not all the features that this camera has, and it was reasonably priced at $379.00 from B & H Photo. Secondly, this camera takes spectacular pictures, allows me to edit them within the camera itself, and/or send the pictures wirelessly to my iPhone, a process which took me a while to understand, but once I figured it out, I was able to transfer my photos quickly. In Europe, the WIFI connection was not always perfect. So, sometimes while transferring my photos, I would lose the connection and have to start over. I imagine that would happen with any other similar camera under the same circumstances. I don't expect to have that same issue here in the States. I mostly used the AUTO setting, but will now explore the other features. The camera was reliable, the battery kept its charge throughout each day, and it was easy to use. I simply charged the battery and had it ready for the next tour day. I particularly liked the selfie feature, which worked quite smoothly. I also like the fact that the flash doesn't pop up unless and until you manually move the switch. This is especially helpful because, just like my former Sony digital camera, the flash would pop up where most people want to place their left hand index finger. It was always a pain having to tell people not to put their finger there. This eliminates that issue. The only con was when I returned home and wanted to wirelessly transfer my pictures to my MacBook Pro Version 10.11.6. Presently, this camera does not have that capability. I contacted a Canon rep who guided me through the process of uploading my pictures to their cloud. It worked quickly & perfectly. 5 |

Wanting to get into more serious digital photography, I opted for the Pentax K-x, two lense kit from B&H. The camera is a pleasure to use. Many features are simple to navigate to, digital effects are better than I expected. With so many options available, it will take some time to find the features desired for a photograph. Works well as simple point and shoot, but far more elaborate features are available to customize amazing renditions. I bought it mainly for the HDR features. In-camera HDR feature is quite good, auto bracketing for HDR is great with ability for up to +/- 3 EV steps for customized HDR manipulation with software. Going from medium format film photography to digital is easier than expected. Each shot can be customized prior to exposure so you know what your getting before you take the shot. Camera far and away exceeded my expectations. 5 |

This is our third Sony digital camera, and each time we have been very pleased. This one has just enough features, and the quality of the pictures is outstanding. It is small enough to fit into a back pocket, yet takes high quality pictures that rival my Nikon D5300. Will be getting another one when the time comes, no doubt. 5 |

Finally upgraded from first generation digital Rebel. This is an incredible step up. Camera has great speed and a ton of features. Have only had it a short time, so still getting to know the features. My brother-in-law has a 5D and 7D, and says the 7D is his work horse. I can see why. 5 |

This is my first Digital SLR and I think it's a great camera. I wanted something over 10MP for a DSLR and this fit the bill. The value and features are great and B&H has the best price for this kit anywhere! 5 |

Still learning all the features, but using it off camera & cordless is the reason I finally bought a digital flash. 5 |

Wow, after putting my OM-1 on the shelf and switching to digital I went with the handy point and shoot type cameras. It was now time for a new camera and I felt I wanted to get back to some flexibility and quality. When I started looking I went directly to the Digitial SLR's. I was surprised at how big they were compared to my old OM-1. Then I found the EPL Pen Series by Olympus. I was not too excited that the 1 and 2 had no flash (another thing to carry) and then I saw the EPL-1.....perfect. I have had it for about 3 weeks and have had plenty of opportunity to play with it and its features. I have found more features than I had expected, even with all the research I had done. Even read some suggestion of slightly tilting the flash up for a bounce effect and it was excellent advise. I miss through the lens viewing, however with that said, now that I know I have a great camera that will take me many miles, I know what my first upgrade will be....then the 17mm pancake lens. Getting back into photography, first attempt at digital. The camera is easy to use, with lots of features. Still getting used to it, but no regrets so far. 5 |

This is my first digital camera, moving over from film. It's got all of the convenient features I would expect, and isn't overkill (I don't need 60fps 4k video). The cost is reasonable, and with the adapter you can get a lot of reasonably priced, used EF lenses for a very reasonable cost. I've only taken this camera out a few times, but I have no real complaints. The only foreseeable issue is the relatively small controls, which might not be great for those with larger fingers. The settings seem reasonable enough. Burst mode only takes six shots when shooting RAW, but that's plenty good for me. Low light sensitivity is alright, if you use fast glass. Think 1.4, not 2.8. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase. 5 |
