Digital Camera Geotagging Canon

I use the GP-E2 primarily for geotagging my photos when I shoot with my Canon 5D Mk III. I am very happy with the solution that the GP-E2 provides, particularly because it communicates directly with my camera via the hot shoe, without needing a USB connection to the camera (5D3 and 1DX only I believe). I love the fact that the GPS has its own battery and isn't a drain on the camera battery (to me a BIG problem with the 6D's built in receiver). It's expensive of course (because it has a Canon logo on it) but the quality is great and overall I am very happy with my purchase.

I use the on my Canon EOS M mirrorless digital camera works good. all is well.

I bought this after trying to us my Eye Fi SD card. The eye fi card did its job geotagging but it couldn't keep up with my mark iii with bursts of photos. It was extremely frustrating when you're trying to capture those special moments and the card is busy writing. I bought this device and it worked perfectly. It's practical since it runs on AA batteries and comes with a little case. Great integration with my 5D mk3

This unit has more capabilities than I had expected but for simple geotagging photos it's extremely easy to use and accurate. It's not as large or bulky as some have implied, but it does sit on top of your hotshot. My first experiment picture showed it within 2' of the actual location. I'm very pleased.

Very good product Geotagging works perfectly as a simple iPhone All new collected details appear in iPhoto In addition the log Fonction allow you to follow your track on several days. Autonomy is good 1,5 LR6 in 5 days! However map utility needed to follow the log files and review the trip didn't work on iMac But on a PC it was ok!!!! Enjoy!

For years I used a Canon AE-1 as my primary camera, then wanted to try some digital, so used a couple of Kodak digitals. I missed the ability to do macro photography, which is my favorite, so I recently purchased an Olympus Evolt E-510 and got this lens to go along with it. I was out shooting all weekend at botanical gardens and out in the desert, and can report that I am VERY pleased with this lens. I really liked the light weight of it, and, since I was shooting mainly outdoor shots in sunlight, the focus and response were perfect. I'm really pleased with this purchase and would heartily recommend it.
