Digital Camera Nostalgia

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nothing like the nostalgia that a disposable camera brings. Super fun to use! Of course you have to get the photos processed but that’s part of the experience.

As an ex professional camera assistant with major credits, I can say that I bought this stand as much for nostalgia as for ruggedness and proven versatility on set. I love Mathews stuff and it's really the standard for grip equipment in the USA and Canada. You can do far more with this C-stand than a light stand and Mathews are the best. Totally rugged and reliable.

I’ll say right now, it’s not a great all around camera, but here’s what you’ll get out of it. 1. Amazing photos for sure 2. Look and feel of nostalgia with a modern twist 3. You will NOT want to put it down I haven’t left my house without it since I bought it. 4. The feeling of wanting to take photos 5. Overall a great shooting experience! Get this camera. You will NOT regret it. (Opinion only)

The nostalgia from childhood is what using 600 film brings about. In the right camera the quality of Polaroid's 600 film comes forward. I'll definitely miss it when the packs run out and you can no longer find them in any store.

I use it as a back up for my digital camera.

Nostalgia kick. Shooting B&W on an early Pentax H3 SLR with a factory f1.4 that I want to protect. The lens has the atomic glass that I've cleared with some sunlight, and this filter (with a step-up ring) will help keep off any dust and abrasion. I've had problems on other lenses with declining quality in filters from B+W and Hoya. One had loose glass right out of the box, the other had poorly-machined threads (a burr that nearly jammed onto the lens). Tiffen are still good, but seem to scratch easily. Heliopan of Germany may have chosen to raise prices to cover the cost of maintaining quality, which shows. A hat tip to the workers at Gräfelfing for putting pride in product. Recommended.

While 120 is definitely the superior version of this stock, it looks great in 135 as well. This film somehow switches on the nostalgia button in my brain, even for rolls I've just shot.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this to print out memories of all those dear to me, to share with them a piece of nostalgia not a lot of people grew up experiencing such as myself. My kids absolutely love it and so do all my loved ones!!
