The compact Canon Powershot SX740 HS camera has a long range, provides 4K, and is priced competitively. Thus, I feel it definitely deserves a 5-star rating, and I recommend it to anyone looking to purchase a camera in this class. However, I have yet to become comfortable geotagging with this camera when using the Canon Connect app. What I miss in this series is the built-in GPS which was last included with the Powershot SX280 HS.

I fell in love with the flip screen, which I found to be helpful when filming myself. It takes excellent pictures, I received so many compliments on how nice the pictures came out. Lightweight, easy to use and carry. The 40x zoom is one of the reasons makes this PowerShot SX740 HS a clear winner in my book. I definitely recommend it.

The Canon PowerShot SX740 HS is a powerful camera which produces fabulous photos from a small point and shoot camera. Whether this is an addition to your photo equipment or a first time camera for beginner this camera has all the features and thensome.

This is my 2nd SX740 HS as I dropped my original! I've never been so mad at myself! This camera worked so well for me that I had to have another one just like it. Yes, it's not the best one but, for action shots of our farm animals and birds, it's great. The zoom is excellent and was one of the original points that made the sale. You can't go wrong with this camera! Price wise, it's wonderful.

The tripod accomplished the intended purpose. The tripod was used with a Canon SX740 HS camera. The purpose was to hold the camera steady for photographs of the northern lights. Both worked satisfactorily considering the timing of the event.

Perfect size camera for people on the go. Good picture quality but the video quality is superior! Video shoots in 4k. Flip up screen is great feature of the camera.

This is so handy to have in your camera bag. I use both the Powershot SX60 HS and a Nikon D7000. Sometimes I need to refresh my memory about where to find a function, and this is a tremendous help-- no searching through a manual. I also have on for my Nikon D7000. Thanks to whomever put this together.

I have used my Powershot S100 for many years. I hoped technology had improved for the SX740 and it has! The autofocus and zoom lens is excellent!
