As a young hobbyist I will never forget watching my first image emerge in the development pan in the dimly red light room. A second AHA moment was my first view of B&W negatives taken with my first Leica rangefinder camera and lens. The Pentax monochrome is an incredible photographic instrument at an unbelievably low price. Leica opened the door to 35mm photography and now has opened the door to digital B&W photography. The Pentax DSLR is the first to follow Leica and has done so with its SOA improvements to DSLR cameras. It will not take long for all the usual copycats to compete in this new and exciting dimension of photography.

This Camera is industry standard for top professional photographers. It offers a full frame sensor, giving outstanding quality and versatility. Any full frame sensor canon lens you put on this camera, the photos are AMAZING. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a top of the line, professional dslr camera.

This product was worth the $ I spent for my camera. It helps block out the sunlight, and you could also see better through the camera. I would recommend this product to all other photographers with digital DSLR cameras.

Recently (7-21-2013) I purchased the world's best Nikon D7100 DSLR 18-105mm f/3.5G ED VR DX Lens camera from B&H. I wanted the best possible tripod and after careful searching for 3 weeks zeroed in on the Vanguard Altra Pro 263AB Tripod and ordered it from B&H. When I received the Tripod on 8-8-2013, I was trilled to find the many functions i.e. the smoothness of extending the legs, the ability to turn the legs in 20, 50, and 80 degree angles in moutaineous setting, the three level bubbles to perfectly align the camera to horizontal position, the 360 degree compass to rotate the camera to a set degree, and the sturdiness of the tripod. The B&H packing was fantastic! The Tripod is a GEM, the best in the world.
