Every digital camera that I've ever bought, I bought one of his books (if there was one out there). His approach to how he explains things, tips and suggestions are priceless. Thanks David and B&H for selling his books.

This is my first digital camera and after many years of shooting film and being frustrated watching the film market shrink and virtually disappear I finally broke down and got this camera. I find it incredible how easy it is to take good pictures with this camera.. I still can't get over the fact that I'm not wasting film.. I used to be so careful about each picture I shot. This camera has some very nice art filters that allow you to shoot different styles and scenes. The image format ratio, changing from 16:9 to 6:6 is very nice as well. For the price this is a great starter for any photo enthusiast and even pro photographer. I would recommend it highly. It makes photography fun again.

For years I used a Canon AE-1 as my primary camera, then wanted to try some digital, so used a couple of Kodak digitals. I missed the ability to do macro photography, which is my favorite, so I recently purchased an Olympus Evolt E-510 and got this lens to go along with it. I was out shooting all weekend at botanical gardens and out in the desert, and can report that I am VERY pleased with this lens. I really liked the light weight of it, and, since I was shooting mainly outdoor shots in sunlight, the focus and response were perfect. I'm really pleased with this purchase and would heartily recommend it.

I used to love shooting on old cameras and film. I transitioned into digital for the obvious benefits. Each camera had its pros and cons and I lived with it. This camera is amazing. The level of customization you can do in regards to button layout and shooting preferences made me fall in love with this camera. I can now shoot, adjust, and switch modes without ever touching a menu. The dual native ISO makes shooting in low light a breeze. Instant redundancy with the two memory card slots. I shoot live events and love narrative filmmaking. This camera is the perfect hybrid to do both. If you need a versatile and solid camera for shooting video, this is it.

Best filter for shooting color with a Nikon lens on a digital camera body. No color shift whatsoever.

Nikon's AN-4B has been my only camera strap throughout thirty years of shooting Nikon SLRs. Film into Digital, this strap has consistently provided security for lighter weight to heavyweight Nikon bodies. As a bonus, the AN-4B's nonslip grip side can be turned over on-shoulder to yield a smooth, sliding motion for your camera - very handy when shooting frame after frame.Reviewers have commented on this strap's unobtrusiveness. Indeed the only advertising is the word Nikon in black on plastic. My next Nikon will get another AN-4B from B&H for sure!
