Normally the battery in my D7000 will last several days of heavy shooting. I purchased this after determining the live view in the program DSLRPhotoBooth would run the camera battery flat in about two hours. I was doing a charity photo booth over two days so this was the perfect solution. I plugged it in and it worked and continued to work throughout the event. The connector on a pigtail that allows the camera to disconnect from the brick without removing the battery simulator is really handy. You can put the camera in it's case with the simulator instead of a battery. The AC cord is a little bit short, but I had an extension cord so things worked well. 5 |
